Is there video of the LA-Sac 2002 game 6 online?

Unless the rules of basketball say you can grab players arms or jump into them when they are driving in the air, your wows are unwarranted.

You do realise, that if you believe Donaghy, it brings last years Suns series, and your championships further into doubt too, right?

I don't recall, did the league ever offer any sort of official explanation or reprimand after the series?

I love how Jackson came out and said the Spurs first championship should have an asterix. What a hypocrite. Karma bites you in the ass Phil.

Yup... I have no problem with it if it means that the entire truth gets out.

^ Cause clearly the NBA needed the Spurs in the finals and to win in 4 games for the best interests of the NBA product.

Honestly... you got to be kidding me....

I guess we all see what we want to see in the end...

+1.

I can't believe that some people can even find ways to defend the "victories".

2002 game 6 Kings/LA confused me at the time because I was still a young fan (around 13 years old). Never would I have thought of conspiracy theories back then.

2005 game 5 Mavs/Rox irritated me because I could see how blatantly obvious calls were made in the Mavs' favour. I was just glad it wasn't my team in that series or else I would've been even more furious with the league.

The more corrupt games that are being brought back up from the past, the worse this is looking for the league. As a fan who has invested a lot of money watching games, I'm outraged.

^ Yeah, I mean, honestly. I think the entire Spurs run is proof positive that while there are games that should be called into question, the league couldn't possibly fix every single moment of every single season of the David Stern era. The ratings for each Spurs Finals were atrocious.

I don't agree with all this talk about all these games being fixed, but I will agree with anyone and everyone calling for David Stern's resignation. Regardless of whether the league has or hasn't been rigging games, his secrecy and lack of transparency in regards to rule changes and the refs has been a main reason why people are questioning the league. The fact that people aren't surprised at all is completely damning.

wow.

but that's besides the point. on espn.com 76% of people BELIEVE tim donaghy's allegations about the 2002 series. regardless of whether or not the allegations are true, the fact that so many people are actually giving donaghy the benefit of the doubt on this one is a real problem for the league. it speaks to how bad that series was in particular but also to how poorly games are officiated on a consistent basis. **** david stern

Somebody's gotta pay for tickets/cable/specialty channels bro. I'm pretty sure he meant tickets though.

where is the game man? No one has it?

also, here is what scott pollard said

"My first thought [upon hearing Donaghy's allegation] was: I knew it," Pollard said Tuesday night. "I'm not going to say there was a conspiracy. I just think something wasn't right. It was unfair. We didn't have a chance to win that game."

Still, LMAO at all of you still hating.

So if we have a different opinion compare to you... it is called hating. Clear enough?

The fact that you have to resort to saying... they they had a chance in game 7... is null and void if it was predetermined that the game before( a elimination game) was to be won by the Lakers.

You can believe what you want... but saying that the refs were questionable and bad doesn't constitute the childish remark that has been so cliche'ed on the boards as hating.

Not a fair use of quoting what I wrote.

In my post I all but spelled out that the officiating in game 6 was very questionable. I just said the same thing for game 5, and that if the NBA was involved by having it go 7 games, it was probably after the 4th game. Game 5 had some extremely questionable calls down the stretch - again, Webber clearly made the ball go out of bounds, and then this play:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=8b-8sS1GplM&feature=related

But for some reason, despite the fact that the referees decided the outcome of Game 5, it's barely even mentioned in the media or forums like this one. At that time, and still to some degree today, the Lakers were the most hated team in the NBA, prior to game 6. It was beneficial to the NBA to have BOTH teams still playing because they brought both Laker fans and Laker haters to the tv.

Again...I'm not denying that the 4th quarter of Game 6 was in favor of the Lakers...just that Game 5 was in favor of the Kings, and even with the Lakers getting the win in Game 6, the Kings had their chances to win Game 7, which was in their own building! Yet because of allegations of Game 6 being rigged, the Kings were robbed of the championship? That honestly is not right.

I admitted a badly called game 6 so it's not like I'm being a homer. But like you said...people will see what they want to see.

Hey everybody just one thing, the players from both teams would've been the last to know if knowing at all that the games were "fixed" or "rigged".

Technically the players were robots being controls by the refs while Stern was controlling the refs.
