Idaho Stampede rustled off to Tulsa

Apparently David Stern has realigned the Sonics with the Tulsa 66ers in the NBADL. What a prick.

Yeah he is the King of Smug. Hearing him talk about the referee scandal today was pretty funny. I guess this should be expected.

He's got nothing better to do? Gee, shouldn't he either be:

1) Enjoying the fact that his dream matchup is boosting Finals ratings.

2) Spend his time coming up with more lies and cover-ups as the court case starts on Monday.

3) Read some of Clay's e-mails (like he said he would) or read Donaghy's newest allegations (he said he hasn't read those either, yet denies them completely).

I'd say this is just another move in our game a chicken with him...what a smug *astard.

EDIT: Stern could also take a look at this MSNBC article---I don't ever remember reading it and it's from December. Pretty good...talks about things Clay dis in order to make the franchise non-competitive

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/22226207/

Quick blurb:
But here's the worst part about Bennett and his crew of team bandits.

They are trying to lose games on purpose.

Not the players or the coaching staff, who came up with a nice effort in New York Wednesday after little effort at all in Chicago the night before. They are trying. But the owners have given them a two-legged horse for this NBA cross country steeplechase by draining as much talent as possible from the team.

The conniving owners are violating this one ethic of sports and should be looked at by the NBA as more of an embarrassment to the league than the crooked referee.

The Sonics are the true scandal of the NBA.

What is one more black eye?

After this hostile take over fails and the Sonics remain in Seattle, Tulsa will be watching what could have been.

And Stern will look like a bigger pompous ass than he already is. Not sure if that is possible but there still has to be room to grow.

FWIW, Stern has nothing to do with the D-League teams picking affiliates. The NBA teams talk to the D-League office, and they line it up based on what the NBA teams want.

Well then Clay can suck it too. Still stern is the King of smugness.

How about they relocate the D-league team to the Ford Center in OKC as a way of honoring the lease, and we work out a special arrangement where Luke Ridnour is eligible to play for that team? Everybody wins!

Who knows, they might be better than the late Miami Heat who were essentially a D-League team towards the end of the season...or well...whenever they benched Wade.

If I remember the Stampede won the D-League Championship...although the players are shared between the two teams or something right?
