Hedo.

AK47 is only a defensive stopper.

Clearly you haven't watched AK play much. While he does get a lot of blocks, he can also score, pass, and rebound pretty well. He's a very good all-around player if you actually look at his stats and watch him play.

In the 03-04 season when AK was Utah's best player, he averaged 16.5 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 3.1 apg, 2.8 bpg, and 1.9 spg. Those stats show he's much more that a defensive stopper. The only reason why his ppg has dipped in recent years is because the Jazz added Boozer, Williams, and Okur to their roster.

AK is a better #1 guy if you dared build a team around his needs, but Hedo is probably better at supporting a scoring load.

Honestly if these two played for each others teams they would both be better off.

I have seen AK47 play. I was being sarcastic.

As a Magic fan, agreed.

I'd take AK 10 times out of 10 and twice on Sunday.

AK's defense is extremely overated, all of his blocks are from the weak side.

AK is a major flopper. I'd rather take my chances with Hedo, AK did his scoring thing in 2003-2004 since then he hasn't been the same scorer. Defensively he isn't so great, just gives you blocks and steals, he isn't a great man to man defender. Hedo right now equals better play maker, scorer, clutch player, 3 pt shooter, and rebounder. Defense I guess can go to AK, I mean his flopping just puts him over the top in that area.

Hedo is a better shooter, scorer, rebounder, passer, playmaker

AK is a better defender, shot blocker

You guys be thinking of the AK47 that was 3-4 years ago... This is really ridiculous... Hedo basically had an All Star season this year... Hedo scored over 18 or more points in 7/10 playoff games this year.. Kirilenko had 12 or less points in 9/12 playoff games this season

How this is close is beyond me

Well, I suspose taht Mark Blount is better than Ben Wallace in your mind as well?

'Cause you know, he scores more points...

And I don't know why you guys don't think AK is a good man to man defender, that's simply not true. He usually guards the other teams best player. Often taking assignments from SG, SF, or PF depending on what the team needs.

He's a very strong man to man defender.

But thats the thing... He doesnt just "score more points" he also creates shots for everyone on his team, and is a great rebounder

There is a reason why one was nearly an All Star and the other is the 4th best player on his team
