NBA Coverup, Stern controls ESPN?
ESPN and it's analysts are all dismissing the story like it's nothing. Look at all of the media outlets, they aren't talking about it much. Even realGM, yes, realGM doesn't have this story in its wiretap.
Does David Stern control ESPN/realGM/Fox/CNN?
I wouldn't be surprised...there is a massive coverup going on. The reason refs aren't talking is because they are afraid of STERN. He will ruin their lives if they try and rat out the NBA. His goons would kidnap their children, attack their wives etc.
The FBI won't find anything when they do their "investigation". Stern has the $$$ and he will bribe them. If Donaghy weren't in federal control he'd be dead by now...
JVG spoke the TRUTH, but unfortunately, Stern and his goons got to him and, fearing for the lives of his family and friends, JVG had to retract the statement.
That "league official" JVG claims told him about the fixing is most likely dead.

ESPN analysts are dismissing it because they know it's ridiculous. If the NBA was rigged we would have had alot more exciting series with big markets and stars involved than we have had.

I don't think it's so much that Stern controls any of that stuff. I think it's more that it's in the best interest of any kind of sports reporting network to not have a corrupt league. Sure it may be a hot story right now that could potentially get a lot of viewers, but if the league is really exposed here, and consequently loses fans, then everybody that profits off of the league suffers.

Bill Plaschke, Mike Wilbon, and Jim Rome spoke on it without dismissing the allegation.
The people on ESPN haven't been that bad. It's a top story and they aren't ignoring it. I guess I'm seeing it completely differently. I haven't been watching the finals though, too predictable and I just lost interest, so I don't know the whole story.
Check this link on the Jim Rome show - http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/vid ... brand=null
Click "Jim Rome Burns on the Lakers," lol he even threw a jab at Phil Jackson.

"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

ESPN analysts are dismissing it b/c without the NBA guys like Bucher and Greg Anthony would not be employed. Stern did get Dan Patrick to resign though so who knows.
But I think ESPN analysts know the NBA is their ticket. Guys like Jim Rome though gave this story a lot of run....so its not ESPN moreso than it is NBA analysts not wanting to lose their only form of income.
