Congrats Celtics You Win the Championship

Post#1 » by DubaLakers » Fri Jun 13, 2008 4:20 am

That was not an amazing comeback, that was an amazing choke by the Lakers. Pure garbage play by the Lakers. I've been watching bball a long time and when I saw the Lakers pre-clebrating in the second quarter like the dumb Sactown Kings used to I knew this crap wasn't over, and it scared the shi* outta me. The youth got the Lakers the big lead, and the youth took it right from the Lakers.

The Celtics, especially Paul Pierce played great in the fourth. He has really shown me a lot this series. His lack of speed and quickness is made up for with his natural ability to play bball and has great body control, and of course just a great shooter/scorering ability. Man I had no idea Pierce could play D like that, especially on the MVP. He's got such long limbs and really is unorthodox the way he moves, damn that shi* works. Ray Allen, I thought that guy was done, too old etc., he has really carried the C's through tough stretches.

Wow did the Lakers F up HUGE. That has gotta be the most dissapointing Laker game I have seen maybe ever. The last time I was this mad after a NBA Finals game was when the Jordan Bulls won their first championship vs. a superior Laker team when Worthy, BScott, and Magic all got injured, and the Bulls won 4-1. The Lakers were just jacking up careless shots all second half. I'm like WTF is going on! The Lakers didn't go to the rack the entire second half, until Kobe did the last two minutes.

I can't stand Paul Pierces on court celebrating. But it does fit in right with the Celtics mystique. He truly is a hated Celtic, but a fantastic player. Man WTF is up with Sam Cassell? Yo Sam they have NBA Championship rings on sale on Ebay that anyone can buy. Like me I can buy one, and I've contributed nothing to a Championship team, just like you, yet you think you actually are deserving? You are responsible for giving other teams a chance to win with your consistant airballs. Maybe they have a ring for that.

Now that the series is over, I also couldn't stand that punk bench move the Celtics would all stand up and yell at the shooter everytime the opposing player shot from the Celtics bench. Man Doc's motivational speeches were at first great, then good, then damn every timeout another motivational speech, they were wearing on me, lol. As far as the fouls/referees had no effect on the series either way, all for nothing. The C's won it legit.

Congrats Celtics fans. The Celtics are the better team this season. Enjoy your Championship. Congratulations to Paul Pierce it was a long journey, but well deserved. KG & Jesus Shuttleworth too, I thought the Celtics were a novelty all year, I was dead wrong, they are the Champs. Man Boston is hot in all sports, damn, what a run. Congrats!

Ah!! Change the title thread. Get rid of the last two paragraphs.

If the celtics can come back from 24. The lakers can come back from 3-1. I appreciate you guys being classy, but no jinx!!

A lotta backhanded compliments in there, thanks for the thought, but it's far from over.

Well, I appreciate your confidence in the Celtics, but there's still one more win to go, and personally, I won't take anything for granted until I see Pierce hoisting the trophy.

Your wrong...you didn't choke. We have a superior team. You play soft and weak. We play defense, you don't. That's why you lost.

And you haven't seen Paul Pierce celebrate on your court yet. Saving that for Father's Day.

All in all, that's fairly measured, although you started off with somewhat of an insult. But if I were in your position, I'd have written...nah, what am I talking about? My computer would be broken and lying in the street.

I've said it in the other topic, on the GB and I'll say it here.

Congratulations from the bottom of my heart (at least what's left of it). Those were 4 really great games, that in the end were decided by defense.

Kudos, good luck in Game 5 (Which I hope we have the mental strength to win) and then the baby's all yours. I hope to see a rematch of this next year.:)

peace

Congratulations Boston. Your team is the better team, Celtics played with heart, we didn't choke. Perseverance was key.

It's funny, when we got KG and Ray I don't think anyone thought, gee that sounds like a great defensive team!

But defense is what has gotten us to this point. Thanks for the congrats, Big Bird, and obviously I would like a rematch next year.

Just lock this! We have to finish it off! When we win 4 games then make a thread like this! Now it makes no sense...

No, the latter is wayyy harder.

It's not that hard to come back from 24. Face a streaky shooting team and you get stops like falling off a log.

Thank You Laker fans for the classy (jinxing?) comments. I'm going to turn a blind eye to the backhanded compliments and will agree with your sentiments about my man Paul Pierce. Too long have people turned a blind eye to his game to their folly, he's a true baller and im glad he's getting the recognition he deserves.

Wow even know the Boston mentality is in here. You'll win. You're just the better team. The lakers have played a total of maybe 1 full game of four better than the Cs. You deserve this over the Lakers.
