You know whom the vast majority of fan groups whom were hating on Miami when we won it all, and resorted to the "D-Whistle" monkier outside of salty Mavs fans? Lakers fans.

**** em.
Yeah I hate Laker fans.

But I hate Boston and its player about the same.

This is possibly the worst outcome of finals match up for me. I hate both teams. But I guess I hate Boston even more.

(Actually the worst outcome would of been Shaq going to the Finals again, with the Suns)

But this easily the second worst outcome, for me.

Am in a lose, lose situation.

That's the best pic of that play I've seen yet. It was silly how fans can latch on to stats and try to prove a point when all they had to do was really watch the game and see why Wade was shooting so many FTs. He's unstoppable getting to the basket, somebody had to do something. Unfortunately for the Mavs it ended many times in FTs.

That's what happens when you try to prove a point using just statistics. It's a useful piece of information but it doesn't explain the circumstances of the situation.

One team chose to focus most of their offense around jumpers while one team focused on getting into the painted area. And the defense chose to take advantage of a particular player's poor shooting percentage whenever he got in position to score which put them in the penalty quicker.

And while some plays showing bad calls are presented bad officiating is done on both sides and the calls are only a small portion of the hundreds of plays made throughout the series.

Memories..man, Ill never forget that run!

And the crying and whining..I have never seen a franchise show such a pathetic case of sore losers in my life, let alone on such a big stage..

You lose maybe one game on a bad call(Possibly when Fisher bumped Berry in the WCF's), you lose maybe another game based on bad luck. What you don't do is lose 4 games in a row in the NBA Finals, the last one in YOUR HOUSE, then complain you got robbed..LMAO!

Pathetic! From the owner, down the coach, down to a few of the players.. I can never respect that franchise again, as long as Cuban is the owner, and Stackhouse is there.. the moron goes on Jay Leno and discusses the parade route..LMAO! Classless idiot!

Yeah Stackhouse is probably the most bitter player in the league

me too..

since I grew up in NJ/NY area, Im a yankee fan = fawk boston.

but I want KG to win a ring, and dont mind posey getting another one either...

and as far as laker fans.. they're the reason why I hate the lakers.. the fans.

the lakers were fun to watch this whole season, and kobe is an assassin (best player in the league). but its their fans that make me hate that team so much..

so Im leaning towards boston in this series... :banghead:

kobe phil jackson and laker fans are all WHINERS! Everyone picked the lakers to take the series because they have kobe, but its toooo bad no one else on their starting lineup is stepping up.

pssssh D-Whistle, Lakers shouldn't talk with their PAU GASOFT....I find the 2 scenarios totally different LAKERS WERE AND STILL ARE FAVORED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN THE WORLD, The heat weren't favored before the finals and after the first 2 games. Everyone was talking sweep. When you have everyone against you, you want to prove them wrong. But if everyone says your supposed to win, you get a false sense of confidence. Lakers will win at least 1 more game maybe even 2 but winning the series I DON'T SEE IT....

All I remember from the 2006 finals is DWade lifting his game to a "Jordan-like" level in the 4th qtr and down 13 to win game 3. After that super human effort by #3 and clueless Dallas team who collapsed, EVERY player on the Heat's roster followed Wade's effort and played key roles during different times for the rest of the series. I mean Payton's shots? Walker playing consistently?, Shaq passing the ball around? Posey and Haslem knocking the german off the series?

It was an amazing run to win 4 games in a row. Like someon said before; you DON'T lose 4 straight games by accident or because of the refs calls. Miami, at least during that series, was the best team.
