House should have been playing over Cassell this whole series. House is a better defender and a better shooter. Cassell handles the ball better but he is still not that great either. By having Allen or Pierce bring the ball up (depending on who is in the game with Eddie) we take the responsibility off of Eddie of bringing the ball up. He can then work on his strengths which is making wide open 3's off of double teams or uofaking and putting the ball on the floor for pull ups. Look at how good Eddie did tonight hitting wide open shots and spacing the floor for Ray, Pierce, and Kg to operate.
I don't want to bash Cassell because he has saved our asses some postseason games which shouldn't go unnoticed (Game 1 Cavs series, Game 1 Lakers series) but the good has def out weighed the bad this postseason. He also played well in a few games against the Hawks. However, how many awful games has Cassell had in which he shot poorly and stagnated the offense? He shouldn't be playing anymore in my opinion and I have been saying that since the Cavs series in which he went like 1 for 20 in games 2-5. House is a way better scorer at this point of their careers and he provides other things that Sam can't like floor spacing and defense/hustle.

2 of the 3 solutions were the reason we were able to come back last night, while the lineup wasn't the same the idea is the same, go small with shooter so they can't sag off

the problem is, with kobe/fisher whoever is guarding rondo sagging off so far Kg is doubled almost everytime on the catch, this forces him to a shoot a tough turnaround fadeaway or get out of the paint and go to the 18 foot range, neither of which are a high percentage shots, hell even powe was doubled by the sag guy last night
so with the man playing off, it is not allwoing us to get established in the post, and its not allowing any dribble penetration
couple soultions i can come up with are, play house more to keep the defense honest, celtics 15-whatevr run last night coincided with house coming in for the injured Rondo. Rondo just simply has to knock down jumpers with consistency, this will also keep the lakers from playing off him that far. or put out a lineup like JVG suggested last night with ray, paul, and posey, kg, prk
