If I have to hear Salmi break down the mechanics of a 'pocket bounce pass' one more time I'll jump off a bridge and slit my wrist on the way down.

Carter reminds me more of a more knowledgeable Sarge Matthews than a Jaworski type. He brings some genuine passion to the game and a useful background knowledge as both player and coach.

wow....a debate between Salmi and Mad Dog is like a debate between Robitussin and NyQuil....sure they do the job, but doe annyone really WANT them?

I want John Gervich from the Prism days....called the game alone most of the time and was top notch

huh? wtf???

perhaps you mean Gus Johnson? Not for nothing, but that's a bit reckless, is1531... meanwhile, he's comfortably doing the knicks & NCAA. Zumoff is here to stay. Bring on Mad Dogggggg!

Listen, you do not have to curse, I meant Gus Johnson. Bring him in and dump Zumoff who stinks. :banghead: :wavefinger:

LOL! I'm glad to see that Bob checks in on the board. Seriously though.... I'd love to know what he meant by "out of a job".

I talked to a friend of his and they said he is still with the sixers as far as they know.

Sorry man, I got a little defensive of Gus... I'm just a big fan.

John Gurvitch was the MAN! That brings back memories, JB-S... Wow, I miss PRISM.

I vote for Jack Ramsey, then Mad Dogg.

I doubt they could get him for a full time color man, but Jack would be perfect for the Nash post game analyst spot. The guy is a legend.

Why would Doctor Jack want to haul his azz in every Sixer game to do that? If I was him I'd be resting and reflecting on how I'm the man.

I hope he does come back because if he doesn't who will explain to us what rookie "instant amnesia'' is 17 times each game?

I also doubt he was too pleased with the way his son-in-law (O'Brien) was treated by the organization during his short coaching tenure.
