I imagine that Chicago is one of the teams that will want to ensure cap room becoming available in 2010, so I doubt these deals that add iffy contracts running past then would be considered.

That's way too much. Not only are we forcing them to take Tinsley, but we ask for a first round pick too? If JO was putting up 20 and 10, and was healthy, that may be the trade, but he's not.

I'd do pretty much any J.O. deal that landed us Tyrus Thomas. He had a sophomore slump, but from what he's shown, he can be a defensive ace, and I like his rebounding and, to a lesser extent, his offensive potential as well. he's the type of young talent we should be looking for in any J.O. trade.

Bucky, you're up in the Draft(s).

I don't see how they really have a chance at cap room there if they hope to keep Hinrich, Rose/Beasley, Noah, Deng, and possibly Gordon.

I just cant see Bulls trading Thomas - especially with a new coach coming

If an offer is made, it'll be Hughes or Hinrich PLUS Nocioni or Gooden PLUS a future #1

However, Paxson seldom trades.

I think if a Chicago/Indiana trade goes down, it will probably be Hinrich, Gooden, future first for JO. It just makes the most sense.

Change in Team Outlook: +15.5 ppg, +6.0 rpg, and +6.6 apg.
Incoming Players
Larry Hughes
6-5 SG from St. Louis
11.8 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 3.0 apg in 28.3 minutes
Kirk Hinrich
6-3 PG from Kansas
11.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 6.0 apg in 31.6 minutes
Drew Gooden
6-9 PF from Kansas
14.0 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.7 apg in 31.0 minutes
Outgoing Players
Jermaine O'Neal
6-11 PF from Eau Claire (HS)
13.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 2.2 apg in 28.7 minutes
Marquis Daniels
6-5 SG from Auburn
8.2 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 20.9 minutes

This trade works for both teams. We rid our selves of two problems, Chicago gets the low post threat they are missing and a bigger guard. This move would clear room for them to resign Gordon and Deng and clear the log jam they have at the 1/2. Daniels salary is half of Hughes and the same length. We get a point guard who can score and hit the 3 in Hinrich, when healthy Hughes can fill it up and Gooden is a very active rebounder.

Chicago lineup
C - NOAH - GRAY
PF - O'NEAL - THOMAS - SIMMONS
SF - DENG - NOCIONI - DANIELS
SG - GORDON - SEFOLOSHA
PG - ROSE - DUHON(if resigned)

Indiana lineup
C - MURPHY - FOSTER - DIOGU
PF - GOODEN - GRANGER
SF - GRANGER - WILLIAMS - GRAHAM
SG - DUNLEAVY - HUGHES
PG - HINRICH - TINSLEY - DEINER

This would pave the way for us to get rid of Tinsley for anything, I propose Orlando for Brain Cook and JJ Redick. They need a pass first PG, he is better than any PG they have on their roster. Reddick wants out, he may not be much of a defender but he can hit the 3 and Cook is a capable role player who can hit the 3 from the 4 spot.

Now our roster looks like this:
Indiana lineup
C - MURPHY - FOSTER - DIOGU
PF - GOODEN - COOK
SF - GRANGER - WILLIAMS - GRAHAM
SG - DUNLEAVY - HUGHES - REDDICK
PG - HINRICH - DEINER

Now for the last step in my master plan.
Change in Team Outlook: +0.5 ppg, -6.3 rpg, and +0.3 apg.
Incoming Players
Mike Miller
6-8 SG from Florida
16.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 3.4 apg in 35.1 minutes
Kyle Lowry
6-0 PG from Villanova
9.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 3.6 apg in 25.3 minutes
Outgoing Players
Jeff Foster
6-11 C / PF from Southwest Texas State
6.4 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 1.7 apg in 24.5 minutes
Ike Diogu
6-8 PF from Arizona State
5.6 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 0.3 apg in 10.2 minutes
Travis Diener
6-1 PG from Marquette
6.9 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 3.8 apg in 20.5 minutes
Shawne Williams
6-9 PF from Memphis
6.7 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 0.9 apg in 14.9 minutes

Not sure if Memphis would trade Miller But they are getting 2 young prospects and one of the best rebounders in the game, Lowry is expendable with Conley and Crittenden there.

Now our roster looks like this:
Indiana traditional lineup
C - MURPHY -
PF - GOODEN - COOK
SF - GRANGER - MILLER - GRAHAM
SG - DUNLEAVY - HUGHES - REDDICK
PG - HINRICH - LOWRY

small ball lineup
C - GOODEN - MURPHY
PF - GRANGER - COOK
SF - MILLER - GRAHAM
SG - DUNLEAVY - HUGHES - REDDICK
PG - HINRICH - LOWRY

With the 11th pick we take the best option at C. This lineup will put up some major points, every player on the floor can shoot (except Gooden) Every player can move the ball. This team looks like Phoenix only deeper(and no Stoudamire)

This would be my dream scenario, i'm getting bored

True, but are there many teams that could defend us if we put out a lineup like this:

C - GRANGER
PF - MILLER
SF - DUNLEAVY
SG - HUGHES
PG - HINRICH

We could run em to death and then go traditional with:
C - Murphy
PF - Gooden/Granger
SF - Granger/Miller
SG - Dunleavy/Hughes
PG - Hinrich

That game makes me mad. In Dynasty mode, I cant rip off the computer anymore like I did in the older games. Good luck trying to trade Murphy in that game. Seriously, you cant do it.

LBJ and Kobe absolutely cannot be stopped either. I had LBJ on the Pacers when I rigged the fantasy draft and got the first pick, and he is an animal. Good times.

Granger can probably get away with playing the 4 on at least a part time basis, but I can't see the Pacers having much success anytime when he's playing center unless we suddenly acquire Steve Nash.
