Technically, it's the American spelling that's funky. You're the ones who went out of your way to differentiate yourselves from the original British spelling.

Well, I like the greyish look. Layout has been much improved, but why scrap the Quick-reply button and change the quotes? I don't know php, does this quick-reply feature pressure the servers more? And bring better readable quotes back, posting on the CA board is impossible otherwise....

Absolutely - if you're hanging out in the gamethread while at work, you need to be able to reply quickly!

CzBron wrote:Wow, the quoting system is totally messed up, main quote has the same color as reply and the quoted quote different? It doesn't make any sense...

Yeah, pretty confusing.

I'm sure though there's going to be more useful things we discover in time, such as the friends/foes thing in the profiles! Also like there being more levels for poster rank.

It doesn't look too bad. I'm with the ones that would like to have the quick reply. Also, why do I have to keep logging back it? Is anyone else having this issue?

Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it

The new colors suck, the new quote system sucks, and game threads are going to suck without "quick reply"

Rollback plz

The "Quick reply Mod" is very easy to install, so it wouldn't be a problem.

phpBB 3.0 is much better than phpbb 2.0, I like the change.

people need to calm down and give it a couple days. They're probably still fine tuning and they will fix the things people are most upset about. Namely the quoting system and the quick reply. The quick reply will be up in no time.

edit: and I gotta say I love how they've addressed the # of posts to get to realgm status. Now it feels like an accomplishment. 8)

as stated, the biggest problems are the lack of quick reply, and the quoting.
the new levels up to realgm are confusing too, some sort of rundown please? lol

Well, dabull7 already said that they are working on a much improved quick reply feature. Sounds good... now they only need to change the colour of the quotes and I'm fine.

another it' just really hard to read all the topics, they dont stand out, kinda mesh together

also that review post thing after you submit is really annoying, hard to do that in a game thread or draft thread

Three things jump out in the first 30 seconds:

1) way to much vertical space is occupied in the forum view before you get to the thread listings.

2) I hate moving distractions. Slide show thingy bugs the crap out of me, and if I pause it, it immediately unpauses again on the next page load.

3) the quick reply field is gone. I have to do an extra page load to do any kind of reply now.
