Lotsa kinks need to be worked out. Quick reply, etc.
I think when everything gets worked out and we all get used to it everything will be excellent.

Yes, I was able to find the OT Canada board. The problem is the Doctor Who thread has disapeared into thin air. Any news about that? That was a 79-page thread. Lots of good stuff in there.

I think people will just get used to it after a while. It's not as bad as some are making it out to be.
I actually like this version, and everything loads much faster now.

I love the new format. I think after people get used to it they will stop complaining. This one is easier to use then the one. Nice work RealGM.

Re: Welcome To The New Forum
not too bad imo. quick reply & the quote background colors need to be a priority. They got to be fixed asap. I like the general feel of the site tho and i like the fact that after I make a post I dont have to wait for the page to load twice before getting back to the original thread. The new forum just needs a few subtle tweaks and it should be good to go imo. Some of you guys need to relax a bit........

Re: Welcome To The New Forum
Good lord this sucks. What's with the SOFT color scheme? Soft Blue, Slightly less soft Blue for the Text, etc... this is a sports site.
Readability should be key. Where's the f'in CONTRAST?
Look at the top RealGm Nav, the menu-bar under RealGM Basketball... You see how it's DARK BLUE background, with a BLACK border... and WHITE TEXT?
Notice the FORUM INDEX nav up there right under the basketball Nav? NOtice how it has DARK BLUE text on ALMOST WHITE BACKGROUND???
CONTRAST people.
This Blue on Blue color scheme is horrendous. Clearly whoever thought this up isn't a designer. or if he is, he's being overpaid.
SERIOUSLY, notice how the ENTIRE PAGE ABOVE THE FORUM uses DARK GRADIANTS with a pseudo-metallic look AND CONTRAST... then you come into the forum and the whole look CHANGES COMPLETELY INTO THIS SOFT PASTEL ****.

Um. Problem!
I've been demoted! I was a RealGm before the new format and now I'm a head coach, which is a scrub compared to what I was before, which was a RealGm.
Help?

I think you need 10 grand to be a Real GM.

LOLLLL ............. So true.
Its looks like my 3 year old nephews room.
I think it was redesigned for the purpose of attracting more sponsers and placing more adds as you can see.
But hey if it wasnt cause of the sponsers we would'nt have this board.
Go realgm......get that paper...

Sounds like you are just going to have to post some more to get your answer.

I can't even make a post anymore. Every time, it's "a new post was made." Terrible color scheme. Are they trying to force us to move to sportstwo?
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

That's the issue, big guys. I broke 10 grand some time ago. I was a RealGm before the new format, and now I'm not. There are mods on the boards I frequent that know this, I'm sure. Folkss should check their statuses, though. Maybe it wasn't just me.

Re: Welcome To The New Forum
Guys it could have been worse,
it could have been black background and white text, 2 years of that and your eyes would be f-ked.
The color isn't that bad i guess, but the quote backgrounds have to be fixed,
the first time you quote someone the damn color should change to at least something that stands out, so that people reading know where the quote is and where your comments start.
