OT - I hate the new layout!

Ever heard of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?"

Yeah, I know the admins are trying to fix the capacity of posters that will be online during draft day, but to completely give the forum a "makeover" ...this just isn't sitting with me well..

Anyone agree?

I need my quick reply back. I use quick reply almost 100% of the time. And I don't like how when you quote someone, it no longer shows up in a box. This seems like more of a downgrade in terms of features.

When I first heard about Realgm.com, I think it was in the Star Tribune or other newspaper, it was a billion years ago, it seems. I spent the first two years just using the trade checker, wiretap, and other articles. Every once in a great while I'd read the forums, but never post.

When I started posting, I loved the set-up/format.

The new style is similar to many other forums that turned me off right away. I'd hate to do it, but I can see myself easily losing interest just because of the aesthetics. I'm greatly disappointed with the new change.

I'm sure draft time is tough, but eww eww eww. <-And you can quote me on that.

It is human nature to hate change... :starwars

I am sure some of the bugs will be worked out and we will get used to it.

Lets get a list so I can submit them

1.) No "quick reply" box
2.) "Quotes" no longer quoted.

Let us not be brash with this, get actual issues figured out so I can submit it.

Man what the heck is going on. This is odd. So far the thing I dislike the most is the new wiretap. I don't want to have to pause it so I can read it. Wiretap should always be visible like before. I'm having trouble finding things but that will change. This layout seems alot harder to read though.

I have no PM ability right now..

I know they are working out some of the kinks. I want to make a new rule for this board.

When you are quoting something. I want you to quote it, but underline and bold is also. Because the new quote function is almost impossible to read. Here is the difference.

It makes it easier to read what you quote, rather than thinking the whole thing is part of your message.

I'll likely get used to it (if quick reply and the quote boxes return), but it does seem to be a step back. It looks like just about every other forum I've seen, same layout, same color scheme, etc. It just looks a little more amateurish to me now.

QUIT PROMOTING YOUR NEW MESSAGE BOARD. IF YOU DO IT ONCE MORE I WILL HAVE TO BAN YOU FOR A WEEK. MAYBE EVEN UNTIL THE DRAFT. YOU KNOW BETTER SO STOP IT NOW!!!!

well I just got used to using the quick reply. hopefully they'll make it happen for it to return soon. otherwise I guess I'm going to get used to it.

Am I the only one that DIDNT know this was coming?

ATM I dont like it. The last time a forum that I was a big part off changed its format, allhiphop.com's Ill Commnity, it was such a terrible change I was forced to leave, and I ended up here.

It seems like they have done a better job so far however. as long as they show they are going to improve it then I really dont have any problems.

WTF is up with the "review your post" thing. when i hit submit, submit it dammit!
