Let me get this one straight. Seattle trades Jeff Green, Chris Wilcox, the #4 pick to Miami for Michael Beasley and fillers?

First off those "fillers" add up to roughly $10mil. That's alot of filler.

Second, we're talking Green, Wilcox, and let's say Bayless or Mayo for Beasley. That's lofty expectations for Beasley I'd say.

I don't see the Sonics doing this trade.

Wow this is absolutely horrible for Seattle no wonder why Minny thought it was fair. They get Green and the fourth pick for simply giving up Mayo? Who says Mayo is going to be head and shoulders above Bayless? Meanwhile Seattle also trades away Wilcox who is an expiring. Minny makes out like a bandit and Seattle get's uses like a prison b!t@h.

I would have to agree. This is way too expensive for Seattle. Beasley might be worth the #4 plus maybe another low first or a high second. I am not sure I would want him. He plays SF and Jeff Green will be an All Star at that position. We need to use our top pick to address a position of need while also ensuring we get another franchise player. I think one of the guards or a big man would be the best choice.

If you structure it right then the filler is pretty easy to come up with and basically consists of Beasley's deal and expirings plus some cash to buy them out, using the rights to #4 in the trade to keep down the money coming back.

The deal still sucks for you unless you believe Beasley is the next dominant 2-way big man in the league for some deluded reason but the filler isn't a problem.

If ever, are you also looking forward to watching Beasley's gregarious nature great on a coach nerve too than an executive? A coach would be more interesting to see, after all they're the one on the court. . . . PJ is the best!

What do you guys think would be realistic for Miami to swap #2 for #4? Spurs future 1st and ?

Then trade Wilcox, #24 and #50 trade to NJ for #10
