Who would you draft if you were the Knicks head man in charge? the reason i'm asking this is because you guys know the players coach Mike D'antoni want running his system

thanks.

if i was the knicks, i would trade down a bit and go for gallinari

i think he is the most "dantoni" player inthe top 10 ish prospects

If I was a risk taker, i'd pick Augustin.

Assuming Bayless and Mayo are gone, I would trade down and take one of many; Gallinari, Westbrook, or Alexander.

Word is Mike D is not big on Gallinari? Don't know if it is true, he seems to be a Mike D type of player. Alexander has been likened to Marion. And Westbrook has the biggest upside of all the points after Rose.

As SDU said, I'd trade down...to us...get Barbosa + #15 for #6 and Collins

Draft Speights and then move Randolph for a teddy bear or a newspaper

Barbosa has a good contract, is extremely likeable (as much as he'll frustrate you) and is ready to play more than anyone you'll find at #6

Gordon would be nice, but another combo guard surely isn't what you're after?

If I was in charge I'd look to give it to an weak contending team in exchange for their '09 pick. With the a top '09 pick I'd roll the dice for a certain PG!

If Bayless and Mayo are gone by then like they shud be, I'd nab Westbrook.
The main knock on him is that he's prolly gonna be the least NBA ready outta the top 10 draft picks.. but since the Knicks are building for 2010/2011, that won't be a problem
