Another day, another loss. Another series, another sweep. These guys have officially lost their Twinkies somewhere between May and June, and it saddens me.

Having said that...GO ASTROS!

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Coop has said the lost Sunday will never happen again, and that the player who dont hustle will not get PT. We will see what happens.

That won't change the fact that we lack enough talent in our pitching staff and that outside of a few guys our offense isn't nearly what it should be.

Then again, they proved over the entire last month that they can be a competitive, winning team. Maybe they will get back to that? Perhaps someone just needs to light a fire under their ass, or threaten to take away all of their Twinkies for the rest of the season.

I agree they won't lose 13-0 very often, but losing 2-1 is just the same. Losses are losses, and we need far less of them and far more wins.

I think after Coop's comments we will see a change for our Astros.

Astros usually do there magic after the all star break, and make a strong run for the playoffs, but those were the years with Roger Clemens. Dam we suck bad man, we need to start going on a streak, or playoffs are going to be long gone, nonetheless our pitching is mediocre, it moved up from terrible to mediocre btw.

The Astros have one of the worst pitching rotations in this league. Roy Oswalt is no longer the same player he was before, and looks like you guys need to find at least 2 pitchers this off-season (one of them has to be an ace).

See I don't understand whats going on with Roy, he usually starts out shaky and then ends up with around a 3 ERA, and gives you a solid 15 wins, but I guess this is his downfall year. Hope he can shake it off, because he has the stuff to succeed.

After C.C. there arent any good ace pitchers in free-agency. Our best bet is to sign one of the Starting Pitchers and hope Roy O, and Backe perform better with Wandy.

This just in: The Rice Owls blew a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the 9th against LSU today.

Therefore Berkman is probably incredibly depressed, forcing him to binge on even more Twinkies, which will result in his hitting 3 HR's tonight whilst leading us to victory, which will lead to a series win, and start us off on another hot streak to climb back into the race for the division and on to the postseason where we will eventually be crowned champions of the universe amen tip your bunny.

Nice play by Bynum. Quintero is slow as hell. Castro would have beaten it out. lol
