I'm sold. Curry expires with Shaq, Nash, and Bell and sets us up for great cap space in 2010, not to mention the 6 pick?!? Kerr would be stupid not to do this. The #6 and #15 sets us up for a great future.

sold, anytime you can get a lottery pick and a servicable big who can draw fouls with the best of them for an undersized center who doesnt rebound, who is incredibly inconsistant, you do it.


of course curry's biggest problem is he can't keep out of foul trouble and does little outside of score. he's horible on defense.

the key though is he expires when shaq does and we get a lottery pick to nab westbrook, bayless, or even joe alexander. then we can grab rush with our #15.

I could PROBABLY see this happening if we'd include the 15th pick, though I don't think New York would or should do either deal. I still like Boris a lot, but Diaw + #15 for Curry + #6 (hypothetically speaking) - that would still be a pretty tempting offer, wouldn't it?

I'd prefer to use Curry and Shaq both at the same time. For example, when they go to the buffet, Curry will eat all the collateral damage that Cactus might otherwise incur.
