Hey posters,

First of all, I'm sorry that your team wasn't able to make it to the second round of the playoffs. I definitely identify with you, since my Pacers weren't even able to make it that far. I am looking to put together NBA Summits for each team as the Draft draws closer.

I put together a ton of these on the NFL forums heading into the draft and they were wildly successful. I hope for the same here, and I know the population of these boards will lend itself to many responses.

Editor Chris Reina and I have put together these seven questions for you all to answer, with the best answers making it into posted pieces on our main page. The only thing that I ask is that you please limit your responses to two sentences per question. Please try your best to heed that request, it makes the Summits easier to read and quicker to put together.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs? We could have explored matching Thaddeus Young up with Prince at SF thus freeing up Iguodala to square off with someone (most likely Rip) who doesn't pose such a threat defensively. Tayshaun clearly had Iguodala's number in that series.

Put Young on Prince.

It's horribly frustrating that it wasn't even tried after multiple games where it was obvious that Prince had Iggy's number.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

Win more than 3 of their last 10 regular season games- at one point they had the 5th seed. Being the 5th or 6th seed would have put them into a playoff series against poorer oposition, giving themselves a good chance of advancing- against the Pistons they were outclassed.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

The team could've matched up better with Detroit by using a bigger player on Rip such as Carney or Iggy. The coach was far too rigid with his already questionable starters, and left them on the floor for entirely too long stretches. In short, they could've benched Willie Green. But in fairness, they were overmatched by Detroit.

2. Where were the team

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
Some adjustments would have helped, but honestly, the only chance we had of beating the Pistons in a 7 game series is if they didn't show up, or at least most of the time. They just have too much talent and experience.

2. Where were the team’s biggest strengths?
Rebounding, pressure defense, and playing hard 48 minutes a game.

3. Who had a surprisingly effective season?
Thaddeus Young without a doubt. Sure other players grew and matured, but I was pretty certain he wouldn't even make an impact in 2009.

4. Who had a surprisingly ineffective season?
No one was really a dud, but if there was someone who underperformed, it was Rodney Carney. He had a dreadful start to the season, and granted he did pick it up, he still was somewhat of a disappointment. But he's a very young dude. There's always room to grow.

5. How confident are you in the front office heading into the offseason?
Pretty confident. I think Ed will get the job done. We definitely don't need to worry about long expensive contracts .

6. What are the team’s biggest needs in the draft?
Definitely a PF. Our front court is one of the worst in the league and it simply has to be addressed. When Reggie Evans is your starter at PF, wow.

7. Who would you like your team to select?
Honestly, I'm ok with any of the PFs. J.J. Hickson, Javal McGee, Mareese Speights, and Serge Ibaka are all high ceiling players. I'd even be willing to take a SG. What I won't tolerate is another SF. And I also think at #16 pick, you have to go with potential.
