There is rumor that they promised Bill Walker they'd select him at 29. I went and looked at this kid's profile and he sounds pretty intriguing. Perhaps we should try to trade WG for a late 1st rounder and pick this kid up?

Love him or hate him, but Willie Green is all ours. I think the only way that he gets traded is if he is part of a multi-player deal. Then again, maybe Larry Brown will want him.

i have a really hard time seeing Willie Green getting us a late first rounder. only way i see us getting a extra first is if we package jazz pick and cash for a very late first on a team trying to avoid luxury tax.

Does anyone thing it's possible that something big goes down on Draft night? For example, Miller being traded for players and an early 1st rounder? I say this because as good a job as Miller has done for us, I just don't see him fitting into the long term plans and judging from some of the comments he's made in the past, I'm not sure he wants to be here. Your thoughts?

Do you fall in love with every player's bio you read? It cracks me up that you read a bio (not even going on having seen him play, and it's not like Bill Walker was never on National TV this year) and all of a sudden you're ready to trade for him.
(I'd trade Willie for a bag of basketballs, but that's not the point).

Not really. There are definitely a lot of players I want nothing to do with. Sorry to disappoint you dabods, but I don't have time to watch college basketball so the information I get is mostly from scouting reports.

There is a minimal chance that Walker is the next Michael Finley, a guy drafted way too low for his talent level. More likely he is the next Sam Clancy who never really has sound knees and in retrospect always looked better than he played.

I've been a big fan of Bill Walker for a while. This guy was a top 6 or 7 prospect last year with Oden and Durant before he injured his knee. This year he showed enough, atleast for me, to reinforce how legit of a prospect he is. In many ways, his Rookie year was alot like Thad Youngs rookie year. They put up nice numbers but didnt show up in some games. Supposedly Walker is a bright guy interviewed well. Its a shame he hurt his knee bc with workouts, he would have cracked the top 20. Injuries aside, hes going to be a good player. Dumars has a nice eye for talent, it does not surprise me he targeted this guy.
