RealGM Suspension

I was suspended for 7 days over a week ago a RealGM Mod on the General board without any warning. I logged on and posted a thread and was suspended. I tried contacting Mods to no avail that night on this issue. Had I violated the posting policy I would have no beef with this. The fact is that the Mod violated the RealGM policy and suspended me without warning. I have never been warned by any Mod on any forum. Is there any review that takes place for something like this? Will the the policy be changed to 1 strike and out if the Mod doesn't agree with you?

From the mod's comment in that thread, it seems the NEXT thread about refs would result in warnings/suspensions, not including the one you made (which seemed to be the 'last straw' thread)

From those observations, it would appear you may have a point, however I dk what other posts you made that factored in their decision.

I would tell you to PM the mod in that thread, but the PM system is down, so maybe someone who knows more can explain the situation better for you here.

(btw has anyone experienced posting and then the post never happens it just goes to the first page of that thread, and you have to post it again and again till it finally posts?)

I didn't make any posts on the matter before the ban and couldn't PM any Mod. What does "dk" mean? Having read a thread on this board by ILiketheGriz complaining about his thread being deleted I can honestly say that I have been grossly mistreated. He's still posting the day after his thread but I was suspended for 7 days by a rogue Mod. Where's the fairness?

I do agree with some of what ILiketheGriz is saying but please explain the difference? I'm complaining about officials and he is clearly starting a flame war. I have no problem with posters dishing it out. 7 days vs. no days? Again, where's the fairness? Will a Mod be disciplined for not following RealGM's policy?

It was probably when you made another thread about it when we said not to...that and that whole "F U MODDSSSSSSSS" comment.

That is just a bold-face lie. I never made that statement and challenge you to show me otherwise. Did you suspend the person that made that statement for 7 days or just me?

Mindflayer, If you are sure you did not make that post I suggest you search the general board for the locked topic to see who did. I do remember there were a couple of posters making threads that day that got locked about refs, I suppose it's possible you did not make those comments and it was just a mistake they thought it was you. Are you 100% sure you DID NOT make those comments?

I don't rememeber making that comment, but then again I wasn't sober that night. I'll stop posting when I'm drinking from now on.

I would like to offer a sincere apology to NO-KG-AI and the other mods for my original remark and calling him a liar. I was wrong, I deserved the suspension, and it won't happen again.
