3 Way Trade

Post#1 » by NEWJer-zNets » Thu Jun 19, 2008 7:07 pm

This is a trade idea that I came up with. As a Nets fan, I like the deal, however I wanted to see what Pacer fans thought of it.

NJ Trades: Richard Jefferson, Stromile Swift, Marcus Williams
NJ Recieves: Jermaine Oneal, Anothony Parker

IND Trades: Jermaine Oneal
IND Recieves: Andrea Bargnani, Stromile Swift, Marcus Williams,Joey Graham

TOR Trades: Andrea Bargnani, Anthony Parker,Joey Graham
TOR Recieves: Richard Jefferson

I guess it depends on one's opinion of Bargnani. I'm not high on him, so I'd pass.

I would bite, only to rid ourselves of O'Neal's contract. I do like Marcus Williams too, and I believe given consistent time he will prove to be a good point guard.

Yeah, I don't think Bargnani's going to pan out, and the other three have arguably already busted.
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

I haven't followed Bargnani carefully. His rookie year was strong enough, but he slumped last year. I think this is reasonable value for O'Neal. However, I don't think the money works does it? I tried it in the trade checker and it failed, but maybe I missed somebody.

No thanks. I am not high on Barnani, Swift is a dud, Marcus Williams still hasnt shown me anything to make me think he will ever be more than a backup, and Joey Graham...well, he would team up with his brother here, but honestly I prefer Stephen at this point. No one is an impact guy there.

By the way, dont know where else to put this, so this is as good a place as any I guess...I was reading Chad Ford's chat today and someone asked the obligatory Jermaine O'Neal trade question, and Ford said JO has been working out feverishly in Vegas and appears to be completely healthy and getting into the best shape of his life. How much I believe all that is beside the point, but I do think if we trade JO, we better get a package better than this one or expiring contracts.

I really don't like Bargnani at all so I'm going to pass.
