It seems to me, because of the Game 6 blowout, most people believe Celtics are much better than the Lakers. Is that true?

Yes. They are much better. Will the Lakers at some point in the future be better then some future Celtics team? Probably - but who is to say when that is.

I do know that the Laker team that got punked in the championship has no heart and no toughness. God knows how they got to the finals. I think other teams out West will look at that and give the Lakers are much harder time. The Lakers won't have any aura of greatness to rely on.

As for 'rule' changes at the rest of that blather don't count on it. The Lakers didn't even try to play defense. That doesn't necessitate any rule changes. In all honesty the Lakers were kind of disappointing. From their indifferent fans to their lazy play.. I expected alot more out of them.

I have a hard time seeing anybody stopping us next year.

We're going to be a lot better. All those people who thought that it would take us a year or two to gel were right--we won a championship without having reached our potential as a team.

GPA with a year under their belts learning to play together + Rondo and Perk improving a lot as young players do every year = we are even better next year than this year.

Two things that could slow us down:

1) Key guys (Posey in particular) walk without being replaced

2) Injury

Add to that that in sports you never can be sure of anything. We almost got tripped up this year by Atlanta, so even having the best team there are no guarantees that you win 4 series in the postseason.

But I like our chances.
