I don't see much value for Villanueva either. It's not like his issues are a secret around the league. Everybody knows the guy can't defend and has motivational issues. But all it takes is one team to fall in love with him just like the last sucker who traded for him.
Nothing will not break me.

Re: 06/19 ESPN & DX.com Speculation
I think the focus on the three spot is in part because of the rumors that we're very interested in Mayo (which could spark the "flurry" of follow-on trades if Mo/Redd aren't dealt to get him). Not sure if there's an obvious deal to be made there, but I'd probably be in favor of anything that gets us up to 3 without sacrificing Bogut/Yi.
Loves makes sense for the Grizz, though I could also see them trading down and picking Gallinari or Lopez if for some reason they really liked both of those guys (they worked out for the Grizz this week). Reading 3shadesofblue, it sounds like Chris Wallace has liked Gallinari for a while, though I suppose they'd have to believe that he and/or Gay can play some PF to have it make sense. http://3shadesofblue.blogspot.com/
On the flip side, if we're interested in trading down then you'd think we would have worked out a bunch more guys--people like Rush, Speights, Arthur, etc. Greene could be there and it sounds like there's a chance Randolph slides, but it seems like the Bucks have been unsuccessfully trying to work out top five talents like Mayo and Love. If they wanted to work out guys projected for the late lottery/mid-first then you'd think they would be able to get those guys to come for a workout. So if I was to deduce the Bucks' interest in moving up/down for their recent actions, I'd have to guess they're trying to move up.
Of course the other option is trading out of the first round entirely, which might also explain the Bucks' inaction in the workout department.

For me it's less about Mayo and more about the fact I'm trying to come up with a reason to get excited about this draft for the Bucks. So a bold move like that would be something to get fired up about.

I am glad that he's pooh-pooing the silly CV + #8 for #3 stuff. That would never fly.
I think its because of the "unless a team gets desperate" part. Teams don't generally get desperate to move back.
I hope it still could be the Redd for #7/TT/Mobley deal. Then #7/#8 for #3.

So we basically trade Redd, #7, and #8 for Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley, and the #3?? Seems like we are getting ripped on that one to me

I hope we become the Blazers of two years ago in this draft. Shuffle everything, change it up, get some talent.
Everyone should be on the market, nobody on this team is even worth keeping. In a vacuum I want to keep Bogut, but if these rumors for 12M a season are true, crap just see what's out there.

All three are more than likely to be traded for sure. Probably not all together, but Id bet whatever deal wichmae is talking about involves the draft pick and at least one of those guys.
Well, scratch Mo from your list, Kohl Is A Mome.
How so? He didnt say anything that would preclude Mo from being part of this deal. Yes he said Mo cant be traded until after the draft (well, he Could, but with BYC it would be a hell of a mess to figure out), anyways Im well aware of that. Im also well aware (like i previously mentioned about Josh Howard) that the deal can be agreed upon before that but not consummated until after the 30th or w/e day the current contract year ends. (i.e. Agree to trade, pick who other team wants, then make it official when the salaries work)

No, it's more like Redd and #8 for Mobley, TT, and #3. The deal still sucks but we didn't have the #7 to start with.

Edit: Speights, Darrell Arthur, or Rush would be fine too. Or any of the top 10 guys if they slipped.
Great, that makes so much sense, lets not draft the guy Portland covets, lets take Portland's garbage they want to dump so the Bucks can draft a future journeyman with the 13th pick.

I want nothing to do with Mobley or TT. It'd be nice to figure out a way to aquire a talent like Mayo without giving up our best scorer. I'd give up Yi and #8 for Mayo. Trade Mo/CV for a banger. I think that's our best shot at contending now rather than down the road. I think we've all had enough of the waiting game. I hope whatever trade is made helps us NOW.

Looks like I prefer Outlaw to most here. Ah well. Are there other Portland scenarios worth exploring? Seems they're looking to deal too.

Re: 06/19 ESPN & DX.com Speculation
I would love to try and get Mayo.
Mo & 8. CV, 8 and change. Redd for player, 8 and salary filler. Any of those to land Mayo.
No Yi or Bogut.
Are you kidding me? I would try to land each and every one of these guys. Wallace is the guy I would kill to have of that bunch as he absolutely fits our needs. A guy who is athletic and can defend, who just happens to be a legit offensive weapon as well. My guess is that non of these guys are moved and if they are unless we give up Bogut or maybe Yi we stand no chance.

Small forwards on the market include Richard Jefferson of the New Jersey Nets, Josh Howard of the Dallas Mavericks, Gerald Wallace of the Charlotte Bobcats and Tayshaun Prince of the Detroit Pistons.
