Batting cages in the GTA???

Post#1 » by T0R0NT0_RAPT0RS » Wed Jun 18, 2008 4:22 pm

Starting my softball season... about 5 games in. My D is still there, but my O has been "struggling"... I'm still able to get on base (most hard grounding singles), but my "pop" is missing. Need to get in some BP.

Does anyone know of any batting cages in the GTA?

Thanks.

Sorry if this has been asked before... I don't frequent the baseball forums too often (usually stick to basketball). Mods, Sorry if this isn't the appropriate forum to post this in.

I'd like to know this as well.

And what are some good places in the city that have a good casual softball league? I see some teams playing in trinity-bellwoods sometimes but not sure if it's too late to sign up. My friends and i wanted to join a league but we couldn't round up enough people this year.

I'm not sure where you live but there are a couple of cages in Ajax and Pickering. There is 1 on Westney in Ajax named Home Run Academy. I believe it is run by the ex-Jay Rob Butler. If you're a little further North I think there are cages at Wild Water Kingdom. Don't really know any right in town.
