Re: Miami offseason plan.
Is Earl Barron going to be paid $15M next year? Otherwise that first trade doesn't work.

Nope. The only way the Heat could manage it is if Marion opted out this summer, but (1) then he wouldn't be on the depth chart, and (2) he's not going to.

Re: Miami offseason plan.
Earl Barron obviously isn't enough in terms of salary to land Elton Brand, Chicago doesn't touch trade #2, their is no way Miami can sign both Posey and Turiaf, and I see no need for Miami resign Jason freaking Williams...

Re: Miami offseason plan.
Miami won't get Hinrich for Haslem. Chicago already has Gooden, a similar sort of player.
And yeah, Miami can get Brand in 2009. Things are looking okay for them. If I were the Heat:
#2 - Beasley
MLE - Daniel Gibson
QO - Dorell Wright
PG - Gibson / Banks
SG - Wade / Cook
SF - Marion / Wright
PF - Beasley / Haslem
C - Zo / Anthony
