josh's value seems to be pretty high... at least by the writer of this article.
I think it's pretty unrealistic but if something like this went through I would fly in from Italy to congratulate donnie in person.

That's great! But the chance is really slim? I don't believe the league would allow it to happen.
If this happen, I expect Artest to opt out and join us as well. It's like a plot.

I expect a deal around Stack, JET, DG or Bass involve in another deal for a big and a swingman.
JET and Barbosa are redundant.

Then, we have a hell of team in the fantasy world:
C - Damp /
PF - Dirk / Pops
SF - Artest / Diaw / RAT
SG - Mayo / AW
PG - Kidd / Barbosa

I was thinking about a package of Diaw and Barbosa and filler for Josh all along. I just dont think Phx is eager on trading with us. Diaw can be a great fit for this team, he can guard SF on D and go into the post with Dirk always staying on the high post. This is interesting.

Barbosa is exactly the kind of player we should be in pursuit, a one man fast break that can use some good passes from the PG.

I also dont think the 3rd overall pick is realistic as filler, more the Atl pick, and that could be combined with Stackhouse to get another nice player. I def want Stack gone as well as Josh.

So everything summed up, i'm all for a trade worked around a Diaw, Barbosa and mid first for Josh deal.

edit: But if its on the table with the 3rd, i would be very very happy. Problem: This proposal has us sending a future 1st rounder ... and we dont have one.

This trade would be amazing... I dont think Phoenix would buy into it, but Dallas would be a team to be afraid of once again if we even got 2 of the 3 components of that trade to come for Josh

Howard is not even worth the #3 pick, let alone adding Barbosa and Diaw.

I think we would be lucky to get Barbosa and #15 for Howard.

Well kind of. In Chad Ford's article he simply listed names of people that could potentially be moved and it included Howard. The writer of this article simply took all those teams and came up with a trade.

As far as the trade goes I'd be all for it but it is definetly a stretch.

If we could sign either Artest or Davis, this would be a home run. Otherwise, it's an incomplete rating. Diaw at SF makes our already horrible shooting even more horrible, and dear lord that contract.
