To Cb4,

I do not think it's a mystery. The same defensive flaws were there during the Den and Utah series. It's just that the Lakers cannot keep pace with their scoring and those mistakes are magnified when you are not playing on your terms.

Plus

Pierce/KG Pick and Roll >>>> Deron/Boozer Pick and Roll
Pierce >> Melo
KG >> Boozer
then add Allen + All-time Defense

Celts are just better.

This I will say, the Lakers are not a bad defensive team. They are a great defensive team, not just championship-level worthy.

At least he knows he can't win a title as the 1st option.

Yeah buddy, he was shut down by the Celtics' defense.

Last time I checked, he's 29. He's shown no signs of decline. His team is young. So why can't they win a championship with him as the 1st option?

But then again, you're on Wade's jock so it's completely useless to reason with you.

B.c when he's the #1 option in the finals he chokes, and shoots under 40% and disappears for entire halfs very often. But you're right i'm a Wade fan, i'm not use to the choking thing. He dominated in the finals and didn't settle for jumpers.

Round 1 vs. Denver: 33.5 points per game on 50 percent field-goal shooting.
Round 2 vs. Utah: 33.2 points on 49.1 percent shooting.
Round 3 vs. San Antonio: 29.2 points on 53.3 percent shooting.
Finals vs. Boston: 25.7 points on 40.5 percent shooting.

The same Celtic team who held Dwayne Wade to 31% when they played this season.

Some of Kobe's bad play is on him but come on, give some credit to the Celtics D. They made the 2 best players in the league (Kobe and Lebron) look human. Tom Thibeodu(sp?) is a G.

2) The guy who made a post lashing at another guy for suggesting Sasha get $11 mil and Turiaf $9 mil. He was talking about Lakers being over the cap, hence pay the luxury tax per dollar for every dollar over the cap. Hence, he suggested Sasha might command $5.5 mil and Turiaf $4.5 mil so Buss would in essence pay them $11 mil and $9 mil respectively. He was right. You need better reading comprehension.

3) Another guy said Bynum had major knee injury and 2 major knee surgery in one year. HUH? Bynum had knee surgery in high school on one knee. It didn't seem to bother him as he was showing huge leaps up until January of this year. Then in January of this year, he sprained his other knee. He finally had his knee scoped. Knee scopes are one of the most common and minor knee surgery. Whether or not he will continue to play the way he did next season hinges on him, not his knee.

That must have been quite the knee scope. Its been what 6 months?, and he still isnt back.......

I was the guy talking about the 11 and 9 mil. And if you read futher I said no way they deserve half of that [wich is what they would actually be making]. It'd be flat out stupid to pay what was it, Turiaf 4.5 million and Sasha 5.5 mil. These guys are 3 mil and under players. They should feel lucky to get to the 4 mil mark and that may happen is NY likes them or something. 4 mil is a max.

Also for someone who brought up shawn marion :o Holy **** forgot about him. I said don't get an all-star team... but Marion would be an exception. Perfect fit. Does everything and doesn't need/want the ball if it's for the good of the team. IF MIA drafts Rose, and LA can trade Odom, hell S&T Sasha too all for Marion.. I may actually have to watch them and be a fan.

Fisher
Kobe
Marion
Gasol
Bynumn

Yes I would be a fan of that team.

It was first diagnosed as a dislocated knee, and a deep bone bruise... They were gonna just let it heal naturally and Bynum was only supposed to be out 2 months...

after 2 months Bynum starts rehabbing, and there is swelling... They tell him to wait another month

Another month goes by and he starts rehabbing... more swelling and soreness... they tell him to rest, and hopefully he will be fine by the playoffs...

Playoffs come around.. more of the same... They FINALLY decide to scope to see if there is anything floating around in there that the MRI, x-ray, etc missed... There were some bone spurs floating around in there that needed to be removed...

This is how a 2 month injury turns into 6 months :banghead:

Blame the 6 month thing on the Lakers incompetence to diagnose an injury. The organization has always been too damn conservative. Bynum only had it scoped a few weeks ago so no, it has not been 6 months. He's on a normal timetable to resume practice.

Like I said, Bynum's performance next season hinges on Bynum, not his knee because it is a non-issue.

1. He didn't have surgery right away. They originally thought it was just a bad sprain. He didn't have surgery until 2 or 3 months after the injury when they realized he needed it.

2. Any type of surgery on your knee requires months of rehab and recovery.

3. He got hurt in january. It's been more like 5 months.
