Search Feature?

Post#1 » by Gsraider » Fri Jun 20, 2008 7:39 pm

Probably a stupid question, but are you still able to search this board for posts made by a specific author? It used to be quite simple to perform a search like that, but now I only see the ability to search for keywords within a post. Any help?

click on the poster's name... there should be a "search users posts" option in their initial profile info

Thanks for your help. Sure seems like an idiotic way to search however, if you are looking for someone who rarely posts. You would literally have to find a post of his somewhere so you can click on his name and perform a search.

I'm not a fan of this new realgm software. It wasn't broken before, no change was necessary.... just my 2 cents.

If you go to /boards/search.php, you can then type in the name of the person you're searching for. I don't see this linked to anywhere on the boards, but if you search for gobblydegook on the quick search, it'll then provide a link to go to the advanced search.
