Yeah, Volquez is flat-out nasty. Game 1 could be a tough one.

Probably the first time in my life a part of me has been more excited about seeing the opponent than the Yankees. Looking forward to Volquez for obvious reasons, looking forward to Bruce as he is the next young superstar in this game, and you have to be excited at any chance to see Griffey's swing.

Well, I guess that's one luxury I have. I don't get to see the Yankees, but I get to see some local teams like the Reds and Cards a lot. Volquez's changeup might be the nastiest in the majors, and then he combines it up with straight up heat. Don't forget about 1B Joey Votto either, he's a really talented young 1B. I think the Reds will be really good in 2-3 seasons if they can keep their young core and maybe trade Dunn or Griffey for some additional nice pieces.

OMG! Volquez did a fist pump after the strikeout! He showed emotion! Will he get the Joba treatment? Nope

...and the win streak is over. We must take the next 2 to win the series. Sweeps are nice but winning series are just as good.

This was going to be the toughest game heading in, but we should be able to win the next two.

Yanks get the bases loaded with no outs against a rookie pitcher. You would expect atleast ONE run right? ......... NOT!

Strikeout

Popout

Strikeout

.... **** Pathetic.
