I think we are in a bigger position of power, I would not offer the Bos or Mia picks, and its not likely I would throw either 2nd rnd on the table either. Force their hand.

Then we dont make a deal. I'd rather not take the chance that Seattle nabs Mayo just to pick up the #24. They can sit at 4, we have had better offers on the table anyway.

To give a seattle fans point of view rose/beasley/mayo/bayless whoever is at 4 seattle will draft.they wont tradeup for bayless .presti will be happy with any of these 4 .personally i hope you draft bayless id rather have mayo or beasley. I think you will pick correcly though picking mayo to keep or trade away.

That is a horrible suggestion...

The rumor is based on Seattle loving Bayless. If they do then we make the trade to call their bluff. If they do not then we hang up the phone and carry on. Hopefully the LAC and MIA stuff works out so we do not care about this.

The Sonics could go with a number of players at #4 and be happy. Beasley or Rose are probably the only ones they would trade up for. Mayo, Bayless, Westbrook or even Love or Lopez would all fit their plans. If they really want to move up I don't see them breaking the bank. Presti, as a young GM, will keep his powder dry for future trades.

The thing is, Patches pal. Is you honestly do not know. You are assuming. But the fact is Presti is very tight lipped. We are simply reacting to the OP rumor that Presti will "move mountains" for Bayless.

Add to the fact that Green played best at the 4 and you guys hope to get continued production from your young centers then I could see Wilcox not being part of the overall plan.
