I dont think I'd take him at #41, and cant say I'd be too eager to trade a future second rounder for him either. He is way too small to play the 2 on a regular basis, and he is basically a shooting specialist. He doesnt do a whole lot else. I wouldnt be opposed to signing him to a summer league team or what not, but I think there is better value at 41.

Re: Chris Lofton
I wouldn't take him 41st. Will he even be drafted? I know his stock has dropped alot. His value was high at the start of the year but he was a sharpshooter in a very offensive and 3point happy team. I don't know if he'll be a NBA player. I don't see anyone picking him but i do think he'd be worth a look as a summer league invitee.

Re: Chris Lofton
Remember the guy is coming off of testicular cancer, which could account for his down year. I wouldn't be opposed to picking him at 41. Yes, he is very undersized, but he kind of reminds me of an undersized Nick Van Exel. He has a lot of heart and plays pretty good perimeter defense. We could do a lot worse in the second round IMO.

Re: Chris Lofton
I don't see him having a whole lot of success at the next level. For one, he's going to have to play the 1, and I don't really think he has the handles or passing ability to play the position anything more than a few minutes. Two, he's not that great of an athlete in general and is pretty one dimensional. Can he even get his shot off with regularity against NBA defenders?

Re: Chris Lofton
I wouldn't draft him, but I wouldn't mind having him as an undrafted free agent. Then again, I wouldn't mind having any player with a half decent attitude and even questionable talent for nothing more than a minimum contract.

Re: Chris Lofton
I doubt he gets drafted and I doubt he even gets a summer league invite.
A gutsy player but he is a one trick pony. He only has his jumpshot. In the NBA he will be blanketed by almost any defender and will only be a spot up shooter. I don't think the Pacers need to consider inviting him to summer league either.
