Does Morrison even have positive trade value at this point? Seems like the Bobcats should be trading back if someone has to take Morrison, not trading up, let alone all the way to #3.

But that's why they call him Shooter. He doesn't aim, he just points and shoots and sometimes he's wayyyyyyy off. This is one of those times.

Say no to the 'Stache.

I dont think the FO is looking for future picks as much as it is looking for younger "stud" players. We hope to be contending in 2-3 years anyway.

G-Wall is a stud, but I still don't think I'd do the trade.

I want nothing to do with Morrison or his joke of a mustache.

I would try to work a deal where we include Walker + our 3rd, McCants, Smith, for Okafor, 6th, and maybe a filler guy.

I'm sure Bobcat fans would laugh at that though.

I think the Wolves give too much in that trade.

But the Cats wouldn't do it because the value wouldn't be there at #3. The likely BPA will be Mayo and that trade would make them a team with too much depth at the wings at no depth at the 4/5.

And I'll have to agree with the consensus that Adam Morrison doesn't work on this team or pretty much any team in the NBA..

I don't know why they should be laughing..

Walker - Expiring
McCants - above average scoring guard
Smith - Reliable back up forward and plays post
Mayo - Potentially could become an All-Star

and the way I see it:

Mayo/McCants/Smith would be more productive than Okafor

3 is greater than 6

Expiring of Walker >= Potential long term contract filler from the Cats.

-Adam Morrison can't play defense effectively.
-Already considered a bust.
-He is not going to sell tickets
-We have Gomes, Snyder, and Brewer. Do we need another small forward?
-His injury brings a lot of question marks.
-We need quality not quantity.
-Really, is Morrison the missing link? Is this how we are going to be contenders in the West?

This would be a completely idiotic trade to make. Not even McHale is dumb enough to make this trade.

This would be a "buy-low/get lower" type of deal.

I can't imagine that many other teams would offer more than this for #3.

Maybe, I just think Okafor would be a great compliment for Al, and perhaps we could focus on getting Bayless, Gordon, or Danillo with the 6th.

The Knicks have the 6th pick, Bobcats have the 9th.

With McHale at the wheel, you should always be worried.

I just don't want to hear the words "We have a trade" when our pick is up. Just take OJ and run please.

I can picture it now, after we select Mayo with the #3, right around when the Knicks pick, David Stern will come out and say "We have a trade" at which point GreatRC will have a heart attack as Stern announces the Grizzlies are trading their draftee.

Dont worry, you wont be alone, lol
