DeAndre Jordan dropping fast!

Post#1 » by london sonic » Mon Jun 23, 2008 10:23 pm

ESPN.COM has DeAndre jordan on their mock dropping past our 24th pick to memphis at the 28th pick.
I must admit I have him as the biggest bust potential but if he dropped to 24 could we take a chance the upside of him becoming howard or bynum be definately worth this risk.
mayo/bayless at 4 and at 24 jordan .could we be lucky and have the next billups/ arenas with the next howard/bynum to add to durant and green.
Didnt I hear he had promise from a high lottery team maybe its promise from seattle and memphis at 24 or 28 not 4 or 5 he thinks.

I would be glad to pick him up at the 24th spot, for a guy we can use and make him grow into his potential, because if he sees Bayless, Green and Durant working hard to win, he will feel that he has to live up to his potential and will be there to rebound and block shots, thus a good thing for us for our 1,2,3 and 5 spot,, and remember Blake Griffin probably will come out next year.

Jordan should have never been slotted in the lottery, not even by mock draft sites. I wouldn't use a first round pick on him.

This kid should have stayed in school. He has no basketball skills and will be completely lost in the NBA. He wasn't even a starter at Texas A&M. Sene is a better prospect. I might take a chance on him at #46 or #50.
