So the Blazers have the 27th and 13th picks and a plethora of young talent? seems to me they are gearing up for a trade into the top half of the lottery.

What happened to not wanting anymore picks. The talk leading to the draft was Portland didnt want draft picks, yet they buy one. I know there probley going to trade it but Wow,I must say Paul Allen is a great owner. Miami needs another pick, yet we never buy one.

They never said they didn't want one, they said it wasn't a top priority.
3m for another trade asset seems to be what's going on here.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

Pretty much adds to the fire...
Blazers will make a HUGE trade with atleast 2 of their picks (13th and 27th). OR they just like really really young players
Im thinking Suns trade or Nets...
Could it be 13th + 27th + Jack for Barbosa?
Or they trade their 13th and keep the 27th.

Easy to see why New Orleans did this, please Rockets fans don't act like this was a deal that could've made or broken it for us.
It's a late first rounder, NOH got cash for it. They needed that, and Blazers love to acquire picks via cash.

Ainge should call Paul and see if he wants one more.
Celtics don't need to have a guaranteed contract on the books for depth players. We need people who have proven they can play the game and the late first might just be a wasted roster spot that could of been on a second rounder's contract instead.

No way Blazers would trade 13th, 27th, AND Jarrett for just Barbosa.

Yeah, especially after Barbosa's terrible postseason failure, he dropped his value big-time with that.
More importantly, he's not worth THAT much, certainly not a lotto pick and another first rounder with Jack.
