The Pistons are reportedly looking to deal for Golden State point guard Baron Davis, according to The Detroit Free Press.

Davis is not expected to opt-out of his contract, meaning that he will play out the final year of his deal worth $17.8 million.

After getting the cold shoulder from the Nuggets regarding Carmelo Anthony, the Pistons are rumored to be focused on Davis currently.

Likely pieces in the deal would be Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, and Al Harrington.

1. Which pieces would you rather build around?
2. Who is better as a tandem?
3. Better fit on the current Pistons?
4. Better fit on the current Warriors?
5. Who would get the better end of this trade?

Defensively, Sheed/Billups, easily. MUCH better in that regard.

In terms of efficacy now, though? Harrington is a lot more offensively valuable than Sheed at this point, but Billups is more valuable than Davis...

Very tough call.

I'd rather build around a younger duo that has more potential to grow, which means the Golden State duo... if you mean for the long-term. For a single season, I'm still taking Sheed and Billups and then looking for other offensive pieces to accommodate the need that arises from Sheed's continuously failing postseason offensive capacity.

Billups and Sheed fit better on Detroit, Harrington and Davis on Golden State. The better end of the trade would be for the Warriors, I'd think, because they improve in efficiency and defense while not giving anything significant up except Harrington's offense... and they have Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis to pick up the slack.

Like tsherkin said, Billups and Sheed easily defensively, but I think I'd rather have Baron and Al. They display great chemistry, and have potential to be better. Baron uses his size to play, which is a reason why he excels statistically. He can post, rebound, score, playmake, and is very good at picking the pocket. Al Harrington this season has turned out to be a very good 3 point shooter, down low he is quicker then most PF, since he can also play SF.

1. I currently like Baron and Al more.
2. Sheed and Billups are a great tandem and most likely better since they have proven to be winners
3. I think Billups and Sheed are the better fit on the Pistons, but I think Baron and Harrington can fit right in, but we will never know until we actually see them.
4. I also think Billups and Sheed are better on the current Warriors, because of how they don't require the ball all the time, I can promise that Warriors team would be in the playoffs with Billups and Sheed on there.
5. I think its a equal trade, but Pistons might get the better end, since they get a younger duo.

Sheed/Billups are much better on D because Al doesn't play any D whatsoever. As a Warriors fan, I wouldn't want this trade to go down because of the Piston's duo's age concerns and BD's versatility is hard to replace.
