Re: 06/19 ESPN & DX.com Speculation
The only player everyone here loves more then Joe Alexander is Ramon Sessoins. Otherwise I'm not sure there is a player the "majority" of the board is thriled with.
I don't want to trade the 8 pick either, as I'm one of those in the Joe Alexander camp.

Agreed. If enough people are getting it via email it can be posted here. No reason to hide it.
Spill.

If we trade our 8 pick for Hinrich I will scream.

If that's the deal or near it, I'll do more than scream. Hope there's no small children around when I first hear it.

Re: 06/19 ESPN & DX.com Speculation
I don't think there is a rumor at all. I think it is all a practical joke being played and wichmae either has a fairly good trade and is just playing with us or there is just none at all and it is a total game being played.
If there really was one something, somebody would have spilled it by now instead of all of these "OMG you'll all be so mad" statements with no mention of any sort of player.

Actually this is a great idea. Just post the rumor whoever has it. If it's bad and will piss everybody off we're going to want to get this thing out in the open and hope we can make it fall through.

I'm desperate to know this rumor, because my life has become temporarily paralyzed by this upcoming draft. But on a sort of side note I'd like to just note that this may be the greatest 66 (and counting) page thread ever.

Re: 06/19 ESPN & DX.com Speculation
It would be strategically beneficial to the Bucks to make the entire Hinrich trade proposal public, because teams would be knocking down our door offering much more palatable options, if they knew that was our current best available return for the package.

For what it's worth, this from the Chicago Tribune:
Unless Kobe Bryant gets Bulls fever again and lapses into some unexpected snit at a shopping mall near you or Danny Ainge drinks too much celebratory champagne and has a fire sale on Kevin Garnett, John Paxson all but guaranteed this week that Luol Deng and Ben Gordon will prevent him from making trades until their restricted free-agent status is resolved.
Deng and Gordon can begin negotiating with the Bulls and other teams July 1, and they will exert far more influence on how the roster looks in the future than any rookie. Because they're restricted free agents, the Bulls have the right to match any offer they receive.
"You don't want to jump into something and then a year from now, if something doesn't work out, you don't have a roster you're really happy with," Paxson said. "We need to take this step-by-step. We'll make our [draft] selection. We'll start dealing with the prospect of contracts for Luol and Ben. How those play out in large part will determine what we do after that."

I don't check my home email at work so that means another two hours before I see it if she emailed me.
Honestly guys, if you know the rumor spill it. It's not cool to have 10-15 people start posting stuff like "You guys are gonna be so mad tomorrow" and things like that. Either post the rumors or don't post anything.

The Hinrich rumor doesn't involve Mo.

OK, so that eliminates Mo. Next up:
1. Redd
2. Bogut
3. Yi
What about them?

I'm not going to post it primarily because I do not want to alienate the person who originated the rumor on this board and his source. Needless to say, the trade that is rumored is brutal, and I am hoping that it is all a mistake anyways.

Re: 06/19 ESPN & DX.com Speculation
Nothing like inviting everyone to pull a crazy rumor out of their behind.
Honestly I thought the Hinrich rumor started the day we signed Coach. I really don't think Hiney is a good PG. He'd make a better SG, but I'd rather keep Redd than trade for Hiney. D or no D. Unless Chitown wants Gad and/or Simmons for him.

I don't know. We really need an internet tough guy who is a Bucks fan to sign up here so he can e-beat up whoever doesn't give the rumors.
