This has got to be a hoax. There is simply no way that a up and coming GM would make a move so terrible that it would actually unite this board. I mean we got guys on here that thought Dan G would become an excellent player, along with others who think he is worse than Santiago. So I can't comprehend that there would be move made that everyone would agree on as good or bad.

How do you feel about trading Andrew Bogut straight up for Damon Jones? (No that isn't the rumor)

I'll throw my hat out there. I have no knowledge, but the whole Hinrich part, along with everyone being mad has got my curiosity. So I'm putting the 2 things together. First, Redd is traded to the Cavs for something along the lines of Szczerbiak, Varejao, and #19. #19 is then traded along with something(CV) to the Bulls for Hinrich. Alexander is then drafted with #8. So basically we trade Redd and CV for Szczerbiak, Varejao, and Hinrich, and keep the 8th and take Alexander. I have no idea if this works out salary wise, and other pieces will probably have to get thrown in. But to me, this is something where people will be mad and we get Hinrich.

Hmm, It's not good, but I was expecting it to be even worse. I'm trying to digest it a bit.

Actually this is a great idea. Just post the rumor whoever has it. If it's bad and will piss everybody off we're going to want to get this thing out in the open and hope we can make it fall through. :D

As a standalone trade, it is easily the worst that has ever breached this board without being laughed off as a homer trade.

To everyone that has put your e-mail address in a post, I would recommend editing it out of that post.

Thanks!

So looks like it was pretty much what was already mentioned at first when the Hinrich thing was brought up

I also got this email.

I just want to check the validity of this genius e-mail address.

And this one from the same guy.

Gimme da trade rumor as well. Or else...

(Or else I will glue your eyes open and show you 5 hours of Tony Gwynn Jr. batting footage).

Villanueva, Des Mason, and the 8 for Hinrich.

Can someone confirm?

Not as bad as it could be. But I hate to think that was the best Hammond could come up with.
