I had to chime in and say that this is getting ridiculous. If anyone was seriously concerned about losing their jobs do you think wichmae would just be sending emails to anyone and everyone that wanted to know what the rumor was? And if by the chance of God somebody would be disciplined for this then they deserve it for letting someone they know cause mass chaos on an internet message board.

Inside information will always continue to flow, whether RealGM talks about this deal or not. People like to talk. Team people like to talk to friends.....friends to friends....players to other players....players to groupies......agents to friends......agents to posters....posters to other posters.

Heck, this could have been floated out there by either someone in the Bucks who didn't want the deal to go down and really wanted this out. Or maybe Hammond is having fun with us.

The whole point of the Bucks is entertainment. And we are getting it here so let's just enjoy it.

Seriously, how can someone give hints about something for days, then give it to 5-6 people on an internet message forum that they have never spoken to before, and not expect this to happen?

Don't want your info shared? Don't be so damn irresponsible. I would suggest anyone who wants to lecture others about confidentiality should first bitch at the original person giving out rumors to random people on an internet message board.

And for the trade? Don't like it unless we pick up another asset with Hinrich.

wichmae was wrong to post anything in the first place, and even more wrong for emailing certain posters and not telling others. This is a public message board. Your parents are supposed to teach you when you're six years old that you don't bring candy to school unless you bring enough to share with everyone.

The only acceptable way to share something with a select few is to PM the mods and ask them to pass it along (or ask them to pass your email along). If you guys want to be in a secret information-exchange club, trade email addresses with each other, and keep the discussion away from this public board entirely.

The only reason to share information that you weren't supposed to share in the first place is to seek attention.

And edit to add: If I ever happen to come across some juicy information that I don't intend to share with you guys, you certainly won't know that I have it. What would be the point of that?

I wish there was some way to get Nocioni in on this deal. That would certainly make things a lot sweeter in my opinion.

EDIT: By a lot sweeter I mean not cringe-worthy.

Whoever is doing it is doing a good job of devaluing out assets thats for sure.

Two things about Nocioni

1. Hoopshype has him only having one year on his contract at 8 million, is this accurate because i thought he got a 4-5 year deal recently?

2. Doesn't he have some injury issue that bothered him all last year?

To answers Dude's question, Noc signed a 5-year/$38mm deal last year. He's got four years left on it. Last year he played relatively well, but has had problems with his plantar faascii (think Bobby Simmons) that really slowed him down a year earlier.

I think the question on Hinrich is can Skiles change this team's culture by having him. Arguably if you bring a guy who was Skiles right hand man on the court for the last four years and the PG, you are really accelerating the culture change. That could be a good thing and worth some overpayment. But I still don't want to send that much out for him.

If Mo gets fired, where will that poor kid on our Summer League team live?

A guy (from Alabama or Mississippi?) who will be playing on the Bucks' SL team, is living with Mo in Milwaukee this summer to work out with the team.

Having the team send someone to live with you > Brewer's game > Summerfest > "Not a franchise player"

I think it's obvious who Hammond favors.
