Felix Hernandez: Our new DH?

Post#1 » by Sweezo » Mon Jun 23, 2008 11:37 pm

Anyone listening to the game or watching on TV? Felix had his first at bat of the season...and just hit a grand slam. Holy ****. I know this is an utterly pointless post but that was an awesome moment.

Better than Richie swinging 3 times and missing as many. It killed Santana's fantasy ERA for me for the week, but he's been sub-Santana-ish, and it was an awesome moment so I couldn't care.

He got hurt like a few minutes later. I say do away with pitchers batting. Leads to nothing but trouble.

He didn't get hurt batting. He got hurt trying to cover home plate and Beltran slid right into his ankle...

I actually like pitchers being able to bat, it breaks the monotony, and gives the team an X factor. It's always fun to hear a pitcher hitting a home run...

Thanks, but I know how he got hurt. If he didn't have to waste so much energy batting, he would have been able to react better to the slide.

and about félix, i think he's over his injury that caused him to lose 5 in a row and now has won 4 in a row that could have been 5 if it wasn't for that injury. i think he's coming back to his ownage phase.
