Auburn Hill Brawl look back

Post#1 » by Jaykoolzboy » Thu Jun 26, 2008 8:48 am

It's argubly the worst scene (public-wise) that ever happened in the NBA, it changed many things in NBA. I reviewed it from youtube again, I realize that it's more worse than I first saw back in 2004.

check this again, you might have the same feeling as I do.

I was at that game... glad I stayed until the end it was already almost half empty...

I couldn't even imagine if it was a close game and still packed with twice as many fans in there.

The place was going nuts afterwards...

Artest was almost genius in that play. He hits Ben in the back of the head, waits for contact and then mocks him on the scorer's table while Wallace goes crazy. All he had to do was not be a dumbo and rush some random guy in the stands and we're talking about the face of the pacers.

1. it was a cup with some ice in it, it was not a bottle.

2. he didn't grab that guy, he grabbed some other guy at RANDOM and violently shoved his head into a seat.

nice try, I'd suggest you know what you're talking next time though.

Anyone have the vid of the Jermaine O'neal sliding superpunch? I saw one on youtube, but it wasn't a very good angle.

best punch? tomjanovich and his doctor would likely disagree with that.

interesting timing?

i remember switching to this game after a heat game had just finished, i think it might have been against the Bucks, then like 1 minute later the brawl broke out

It may not be the best, but it's probably the funniest punch in NBA history

Its disgusting personally. Also, Ben Wallace should have gotten just as long of a suspension as Artest.

I dont agree with artest hitting wallace but who cares all players were hitting each other.

I honestly think artest did the right think by getting out of the trouble and just sitting on the scorers table. Then he gets beer thrown on him, how else would you react? maybe he couldve responded better by just taking it, but to begin with i think he behaved the best out of those guys.

The Knicks-Nuggets brawl was much funnier...it had everything.

Nate Robinson acting like a WWE wrestler just slamming guys to the court.

Carmelo Anthony with the sucker punch then running away like a girl.

None of this is that big of a deal. It used to happen all the time in the NHL, but of course there was one 1 difference.

If the fans don't ask for it, it won't happen. With that said, Ben Wallace was the most to blame for what happened.

The funniest is Nate pretending to go after Melo but then doing a quick u-turn when he realizes no one was between them.
