Why would the Pacers do that if they want DJ?

Well the Pacers have Ford, Diener, Tinsley.

I could see the Pacers keeping Augustin, but it would make more sense to pickup your guys two 2nd rounders, and pick a different position at 12.

Yeah, I'm not sure Indy's got enough need power now... the Pacers don't need DJ, and holding him randsom to get the Kings seconds doesn't make much sense for them if Sacramento doesn't take their bluff.

It makes a lot of sense, because the Pacers could get a rotational big with #42 and stash a Euro with #43, while taking a player they like just as much as Augustin at #12.

At the same time the Pacers could be content with keeping DJ, and if SAC wants a PG and DJ falls, you better call IND.

Why would Indy WANT Augustin now? Everything about Indy is pointing to drafting Arthur/Kufos.

Unless Eric Gordon is there, and then it's no question. XD

Tinsley will be gone and Diener isn't exactly great quality. Pacers keeping Augustin isn't out of question.

I rather just make Indy take whoever they want than let them have a vice grip on our nuts. I'd rather have Jordan/Arthur anyway to be honest.

It said in the Bee today that Randolph is also a possibility.

And I still don't see how DJ still makes sense there. Diener can be a solid stop-gap as a backup at least right now, and even then, DJ is a clear future starter in this league. Using the #11 pick on a big man and maybe your #17 pick on Chalmers would make a lot more sense.

I doubt DJ is there at #11 or #12 however if he is I can see the Kings taking him if Indy doesn't, but no we wouldn't trade both our 2nd rounders to move up one slot. We really need a PF more than a pg IMO. I would rather see us draft Arther, Randolph, Alexander, Speights over DJ anyways. So I hope Indy does pick him so we are forced to go with the best big available.

I got to agree with this guy.

I'd rather we wait for future oppurtunities to find a PG... the ones right now just aren't that appealing. Bayless isn't falling, Gordon-with-intention-to-try-and-turn-him-into-a-PG isn't going to fall. Westbrook probably isn't falling, and it's questionable if he can be a starting PG (though if we went to the Princeton-style offense, he'd be fine). DJ I'm mixed and somewhat questionable on.

Big men are easier to find then floor leaders. Randolph isn't a PF, neither is Alexander. I love Arthur, but our team needs a PG more then we need a PF right now if Augustin falls to us.

DJ is getting severly underrated. He's a top 6 player in the draft.

We disagree, that's all.

And I agree Randolph and Alexander aren't "big men", but big fowards.
