Also, don't forget how much better our offense makes players look! This should not be taken lightly.

I think there will be deal at some point tonight. Of course, there will be about 40 trades overall after the draft is done. Just hope we are part of one and hopefully move down in the first round. If not, let's draft two quality players and move on.

Since the spurs sent out a league wide email saying they are willing to move the 26th pick..

Wiz trade: Pecherov (using trade exception), memphis pick, 47th
Spurs trade: 26th pick

I'd love to make that deal, but I don't think the Spurs would want Pesh since they already have a similar player in Matt Bonner. I think they'd be interested in McGuire, though.

I think that lets us reach for Chalmers at #18 and then take Hendrix at #26.

We're stunned. Normally you're just a ray of **** sunshine.

If all of this depresses you so **** much, go find something else to do and quit dragging everyone else down into your sea of misery. Really.

I'm not Solomon Jonezing for Almond. Sorry, CCJ.

Ruz, did you see Jones playing in the playoffs for ATL when they took the Cs to seven games?

(Lousy shooting but 8 rebs and 3 blks in 29 mins over all seven games isn't bad.)

Jones, Almond, Novak, even Luke Jackson -- None of them are misses and each of them just needs the right situation a la Roger Mason Jr.

I know that's the plan for the Nets, but if you're LeBron, would you want to play for New Jersey?

I just can't see it. It'd be like Jordan playing for Portland or something.

Pecherov for their pick seems like it could work to me. Throw in the Memphis pick and why not?

Oleksiy's range and size, and the Spurs being a veteran team that's need of some youth would seem to make him a good fit in SA.

Chalmers/Hendrix IMO would be the ideal draft for the Wizards, Lyrical.

He's Jay-Z's bitch. He is out of Cleveland in two years. That place sucks.

It won't be the New Jersey Nets, rather the Brooklyn Nets.

And yes, I think LeBron would be very interested in that.

"18. Wizards: Donte Greene
One Andray Blatche obviously wasn't enough. If Greene can avoid Blatche's penchant for hookers and DUIs and embrace Dan Steinberg and the Wizznutzz, Greene will fulfill his potential as one of the Top 3 most FreeDarko players in this year's draft. And I was the guy who tabbed Julian Wright as "Most FD" a year ago, so I earned at least one year's worth of iffy picks (DS)."

The Wizards get beaten like a read-headed step child every time they go against a solid half court team. They need more real beef inside when they go against teams like Cleveland. I don't think he'll last past #17, but if so, the Wizards would really benefit with taking a guy like Hibbert. They don't need a huge upside - they just need two solid big men inside when playing those type teams. With Hibbert and Haywood down low, we could close off interstate 95 to the basket on a regular basis.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I would see Hibbert as a role player who would play lots more minutes against half-court teams and might be virtually a non-factor against more up-tempo teams.

I've got a feeling that EG will trade for an experienced player. I like the fact he's kept the core group together for some years but I think we need someone to balance the youth with smarts and attitude. EG must know that we're a few parts shy of having ourselves a nice running machine. Ernie is a smart guy, I have confidence he'll get 'er done! Good luck guys!
With their pick the Washington Bullets select "Kwame Brown"..."Kenny Green"...."John Williams"... Please EG reverse the curse!

I hope we trade our pick. I think there's no we can grab at the 18 spot that can help us win NOW. I am pretty high on Courtney lee but I'm sure EG will go big.

If anything, I hope we grab Sean Singletary or James Gist in the 2nd round.

Exactly my feeling. I think EG has a trade that nets us a veteran who can help us get over the first round hump and poor EJ proofing the roster.

Nothing would make me more happy to see Songaila get traded. His presence on the roster and EJ's habbit of using him as a C for long stretches is holding us back. Trade him and free up minutes for Pech and McGuire.
