Pierce and Allen's production dropped off on 66 win team that won the NBA championship. There production before last season had been fairly consistent over the course of their careers before that.

Just like Antoine Walker when he got to Miami. His performance had been pretty consistent up until that point.

The idea is that bringing together Allen, Pierce and Garnett was alot more impressive last year tha bringing together Brand, Marion and Wade would be this year.

Who's idea is that?

Trios are pretty even....Celtics bench is the best in the league though.. and Rondo, Perkins are 2 of the best defenders at their positions. Miami doesnt have those type of role players.

I think everysingle person on the Wade trio is better, with the exception of KG and Brand...but then agian, KG wouldnt even bother showing up.....

It's kind of a moot point now. Michael Beasley is now Miami's, and I'm pretty damn psyched. I've got to tell you, I was almost certain Riles was going to trade him for a 30 year old, but I'm happier keeping him...

What does that mean? Allen, Pierce, and Garnett were great players with great numbers when joined together formed a great team. Their numbers dropped but their team performed at level you'd expect from 2 25 ppg scorers and a former MVP. None of them played at an Antoine Walker level. I think they all can and should be perceived as similar caliber players as they were before this season.
Marion, Brand, and Wade also had their numbers fall off this season, only for losing teams and because of injuries. Brand missed an entire season and Marion had his numbers fall off after changed teams and systems, Wade played on a team that won 15 games. All three have to be devalued.
