Watching ESPN's Draft Preview, it looks like Love's lost about 30 lbs.

If Miami passes Beasley over for Mayo that will go down as an epic blunder.

And if they don't want him, trade the pick! Don't just pick Mayo at 2. But if Miami doesn't make a mistake, count on Minnesota making one.

Dat, if Anderson's the pick ... I grudgingly will say he might turn out to be a good one down the line.

Ironically, I was in the Sacramento area a couple weeks ago and saw a local tv piece on him.

Offensively, he's the real deal. Fits the Wizards profile.

I'd much rather see the move to defense, but Anderson has the Pac 10 numbers and the size with the scoring and rebounding to make it in the NBA.

I would'nt trade Pecherov for anything less then a top 20 pick period. The guy is young and a Euro who needs time to adjust to not just NBA basketball but the USA. The kid has a nice stroke and has a body that can add weight without problems. I'll take a young fundamentally sound 7-0ft'er that has range over most guys from this draft. He might be alittle of a shot jacker but i think 2 years from now he will be a tough matchup spreading the floor and can develop his body into a center.

If i traded any of our bigs it would be Songalia and Etan.

If Hibbert falls that is a no brainer a skilled bigman with a shot who already is well versed in the princeton offense. Roy would be great backing up Wood. Hibbert impacts games on both ends he just can't stay outta foul trouble has a backup he would be great.

I'd even take a flyer on Ewing JR especially has a free agent. The Wiz need a hustling defender who rebounds, block shots and does the dirty work.

Samuels, I'm also one that says give Pecherov time. I would like to see him moved for a shot at somebody like Lowry, however. That or for a physical defender like Hendrix.

I think Ewing JR and Will Thomas would be nice guys to invite as FAs. As you say, they can defend, rebound, and do dirty work.

How bout Caron Butler, Darius Songaila 18th pick & Memphis' 1st rounder for Mark Blount, Marcus Banks & #2 pick?

New lineup:

PF Beasley / Blatche / Pecherov
SF Jamison / McGuire
C Haywood / Blount / EThomas
SG Stevenson / NYoung
PG Arenas / ADaniels / Banks

Hell to the yes, Dat.

Jamison at SF would be rebounding nightmare for opponents. Beasley has HOF talent.

And this moves Songaila? I like Caron but I'm down with this.

..... OH NO, Stephen A. is on the set..... Yuk!

I agree, Anderson is actually pretty decent in my eyes. My only worry is he's not a real need. With D-Song & Pech we already have a number of pick & pop forwards. But I do think he would be a better choice than Javale McGee.

At least we're talking. Granted it probably won't lead anywhere but we've talked to Houston, Detroit, and Portland so obviously there's interest.

Key player if he drops is Robin Lopez.

OJ Mayo looked like he just came out of a GQ photoshoot.

Mayo, grooming the image with the school boy glasses and the conservative suit.

Nice.

Continuing the Spurs idea, what about swapping Songaila+MEM+47 for Bonner+26? They do it to get a better backup PF. We save some coin, get another 2010 expiring deal, and get another pick.
