Porland is a Future Dynasty

Post#1 » by magicfan4life05 » Fri Jun 27, 2008 1:21 am

They have 4 LOTTERY PICKS in their starting lineup for the future. One of them is projected to be a dominant big man. The second is a all star swingman, and the third is a really really good power forward who put up 18/7 last year in his second year, and now they got a great prospect at PG.

This team is stacked for the future. They were in great position last year to almost make the playoffs, and now they add 2 lottery picks next year (oden and bayless) under a great coach in nate mcmillan and one of the best owner in sports (by now best in the NBA IMO)

Remember, the blazers have a history of stacked teams (remember 2000 blazers) and if those lottery picks deserve max or near max contracts, their owner will do it w/o hesitation.

I am scared

I am very very very scared.

In 2 years, the nba might be taken over

DARN YOU KEVIN PRITCHARD

DARN YOU PAUL ALLEN

DARN YOU ZACH RANDOLPH WHO STARTED THIS TRANSFORMATION....AHHHHHHHH

Not yet. We need a lot of seasoning, but I really like our roster on paper.

Future dynasty? Maybe...but enough talk. It's time for Portland to walk the walk or start limping.

Greg Oden meshes perfectly with LaMarcus Aldridge. That's a perfect marriage.

Jared Bayless meshes very well with Brandon Roy. Both can handle and create offense and both can play off the ball.

The Blazers are going to own this decade barring major injuries.

you make it sound like they are a team that has been flaming out for years and dont have much time left, they havent even had one season together. the walking will start next year i can guarantee you that. im calling 54 wins next year and a 4 seed because they win the division, but i have been saying this for months.

How is Bayless a top ten caliber player when he just got picked 11th?

and Kobe and Shaq meshed perfect together and they haven't done enough with it. I'm just saying, you never know what will happen. They do look good on NBA 2K and paper though

i wouldn't jump the gun. I thought the same thing about a Chicago team that had Kirk, Gordon, Deng, Tyrus Thomas, ETC.

I didn't say that. Just trying to temper some of that Blazers talk. Nothing is ever set in stone.

true, my bad, i just love all the talk because the blazers never get talked about any other time so i get all defensive when someone tries to cool the fire haha

Seriously. The difference between these Blazers, the Bulls of like two years ago, the Clippers of like 4 years ago, the Cavs of the late 80s, etc is what?

There's alot of teams every year that have a ton of potential, and most of them flame out. A few win championships, a handful are legit contenders, most are nothing special at all. These Blazers have a little more potential? Big deal.
