O's fan here. Its early. You know Wells and Thomas will get theirs, and I'm a big fan of Rios, and Overbay is solid too. Not to mention you guys are missing Troy Glaus. Very good lineup with those 5 in there.

However, if this continues in May, yeah its time to start worrying. This game could have gone either way as I thought Loewen was going to lose it for us.

We need relievers in the worst way.

I don't even know what to say anymore. I am losing interest in this team very fast this season.

Yeah, I really thought this past offseason would be a good litmus test to what direction the Jays were going to go on, but I wasn't impressed with Ricciardi's moves, at least from my casual perspective. I knew we needed help in the bullpen and pitching department, but he felt like he could compensate for our weaknesses by getting FT and a couple of doggie bones for the pitching.

I also felt that offensively, we overachieved a bit last year and would not be surprised if this year was different.

the way this is going , you can easily go with one thread for each series and not worry about it ever getting too big.

Jays suck. Season is over.

i agree with Mak, not only is the board struggling, but the Jays got swept by the O's (unless it's a 4-gamer)...

we need more ppl making gamethreads, Bosh can't do them all, cuz if we lose, someone new needs to make it

there is no production from the middle of the lineup. Wells, Thomas and Overbay are hitting horribly.

The top and end of the line up are hitting pretty well. They're getting on base but have no one to drive them in.

The starting pitchers actually have been pretty decent. It's the bullpen that cannot hold a lead. With BJ Ryan gone for the next month and a half, I think the Jays will dig themselves into a deep hole they won't be able to get out of.

Who's starting the "Tank" bandwagon much like the Raptor board?

I expect mid-summer the board will pick up. Some people maybe should drop some emails to Jamie Campbell to see if he will give it some pub during games. Most are focusing on basketball and hockey playoffs right now, once June rolls around, I think it will get busier. We also have to remember this is a brand new launch from RealGM.
