Re: my draft grades
On fox sports we were listed at Winners for the guys we drafted plus props on the trade.
We've made journalist's jobs easier too. On slow news days they can just come up with dumb articles about the Nets gearing up for the Lebron era. Makes me wish I was a sports writer. It's easy money being a Net beat writer right now.

Re: my draft grades
Good idea for a thread i'll post mines:
Hawks - Incomplete, no draft picks...
Celtics - B, not much can be done with the 30th pick and they ended up with a guy who makes tony allen dispensable. They also added my favorite player from round 2 in bill walker. Overall solid night
Bobcats - C, Augustin IMO will be nothing more than a backup and isn't gonna be much better than felton to pick him here. They Should have went with brook lopez since they're in some dire need of low post scoring and he could have given them that.
Bulls - A+, Best pick they could have done. Rose is gonna be a top 5 PG in a couple years.
Cavaliers - B, While I think they should of picked Arthur here, hickson is a nice player who could come in and give them solid minutes at the 4.
Dallas - Incomplete, only had the 51st pick this year.
Denver - Incomplete, no picks.
Detroit - C- , I don't see any of the guys drafted getting any burn this year.
Golden State - B- , Randolph has huge potential but until he bulks up I don't see Nellie playing him much this season.
Houston - B, Greene is a long athletic SF who can shoot the 3. I think he'll be a solid player for the rockets. Dorsey could also turn out to be a solid pick but with Landry, Hayes and scola ahead of him he won't get much burn.
Pacers - C, Should have stuck with bayless. At least they get back a capable starter in Jarret jack in the deal. Hibbert is a solid pick, Won't be a star but will be a nice role throughout his career.
Clippers - A, Gordon fits them well and should start for the clipps. DeAndre Jordan was a STEAL. No gamble here and could turn out to be a TOP 5 player in this draft if he ever leanrs how to play the game.
Lakers - Incomplete, only 58th pick.
Memphis - A, both Mayo and Arthur should start for the grizzlies and with the 5th pick they managed to get the 3rd best player with superstar potential in the whole draft. Excellent night for Mr. Chris Wallace
Miami - A- , Beasley is the best player they could have picked but personally I would have liked to see them trade down and nab OJ. He suits them much better and as a hoops fan I would have loved to see the Wade/Mayo backcourt. oh well. Chalmers was a steal and should play right away for this heats team.
Milwaukee - B, Should have went with Lopez here now that they have no PF's with Yi gone. Richard Jefferson is gonna be the starting SF so I'm not sure WHY they picked alexander here. Guess they could start him at the 4.
Minnesota - B, would have kept Mayo, but at least they got rid of Jarics contract and nabbed Mike Miller away aswell.
Nets - B, Ahh the Nets, with boone, Sean, Krstic and Swift all projected to be with the team come october, the Brook Lopez and Ryan Anderson pick make no sense IMO. Bayless could have been the scorer off the bench this team has needed since lucious harris... Lopez while not a terrible pick(he was projected to go #3 at one point, anderson was a huge reach and would have liked to see Donte Greene, Nicholas Batum or Courtney Lee. At leats we stole CDR at 40.
Knicks - B+, 3 drafts, 3 SF's for the knicks but i like the gallinari pick. He'll suit D'Antoni's offense pretty well.
Orlando - B+ , Good pick here and don't be surprised if you see lee starting for the magic this season.
Philly - A- , Got the low post scorer and rebounding Big they needed. He'll probably recieve huge minutes this season starting alongside Dalembert, Miller, Igoudala and Young.
Phoenix - B , At least they kept thier pick this year and they got a player who'll give them quality minutes off the bench.
Portland - A+, Traded for Bayless who will be thier starting PG this season and nabbed Batum who could have been picked in the teens hadn't heart issues popped up.
Sacramento D, Biggest reach in the draft in thompson.
San antonio, B- , didn't pick an international player this year. Would have went with chalmers instead of hill with this pick.
Seattle - B , The Russell Westbrook pick was OK but they should have made some kind of deal with minny to nad Mayo. Ibaka won't be coming til 2012 if at all so I think they wasted a pick here.
Toronto - Incomplete, only had 41st pick.
Utah - B+, liked the kuofos pick here and could be grromed as starting Center of the future for whenever okur gets the boot.
Wizards - C, They already have a player very similiar to McGee in Blatche, Arthur would have been a better pick.
Hawks - Incomplete, no draft picks...

Re: my draft grades
Decent assessment of the Nets. I think our drafting 2 big man shows you the management isn't done dealing. If we took a backup PG, a swing man and a big, I would think that was the case. We have tons and tons of guys that play the 4/5 now on our roster. I guarantee 2 won't be there to start the season personally.

Re: my draft grades
IMO, the Nets made a terrific draft. Brook Lopez is the perfect 1st pick for us, i think even if Joe is still available i still would've picked Brook at 10. Im not that crazy about Bayless, although i think he will be a good player, i still think he's not the guy we needed because Devin Harris is so much better than him and still have room to get EVEN better, we can get another PG/SG in next year's draft. Plus, we need to get tougher and bigger down low and Brook is the best pick at that point.
Ryan Anderson is very good pick. We needed a guy like him, he's ala Troy Murphy or even Austin Croshere, very serviceable players. He's a very good shooter(50% FG/40% 3-pt/90% FT) with length and a little post move, not bad at all. He also lead the Pac-10 in scoring so that should say something about him. I don't care what division you're in but if you lead that division in scoring... you are a gamer. Nicholas Batum would also be alright but that heart problems also scared the $h!t out of me. Greene is a shooter but based on his scouting report, he takes bad shots and if thats the case, i would rather have a spot up shooter than somebody that would just jack up shots. If i didn't like how RJ used to shoot all the time from the outside, and most of them are good shots, and didn't make them (when he could've used his best strength of pushing the ball inside) how am i going to like Greene... Lee is a shooting guard and i think we have a better pick at SG right now.
CRD is a STEAL and everyone knows that. But some people are still unsure about his unorthodox shot but he's very comfortable with it and he makes his shots, he has range. Childress also uses the same shot and still very good at it, he can shoot from 3 and very good at the FT line. I actually like Childress, RJ always would have a hard time when his facing him.
