I still don't think we would have got past SA with Marion this year

If Hill was healthy, I think Phoenix would have won the Championship this year with Marion.

Remember, Hill got injured during the last game of the regular season when Mike D inexplicably decided to play the starters...BUT...the team would have had better playoff positioning by then if they kept Marion and Mike most likely would not have been playing the starters that late in the season.

But, if Hill got injured anyways, I agree Phoenix still would have lost in the first round.

BUT, with a healthy Hill, and if they kept Shawn, they would have beaten Boston in the Finals.

Dumb trade.

how about a trade with Detroit?

Shaq/Amare

for

BIllups/Prince/Rasheed Wallace/Antonio Mcdyess

A Nash/Billups/Prince/McDyess/Wallace line up is still very competitive for a championship if not even more so. BIllups would also act as a PG when Nash goes out. The Suns would be extremely deep.

Wallace and McDyess both are off the books by the time Shaq is, so it's not much of a drop from cap space either.

You guys DO realize that Shaq is UNTRADEABLE, right?

Miami's FO personnel are probably still slapping each other on the a$$ over that one.

Yeah, not much incentive for CHI to do that.

Idk about that...im actaully from the bulls board.

Seeing as you wouldn't be trading away Amare (which i wanted...who won't rite?), Shaq wouldn't be completely awful seeing as we dont have ANY post presence.

My other thought would be Diaw, any chance you guys would be interested in a Diaw for Hinrich straight uP>

SIGN ME UP!

No way that'd happen, but I think everyone here would love Hinrich's defence...though we'd need a big back too, unless they resign Skinner which I doubt now that Sideshow Rob's on hand

How about this if Brand leaves for GSW?

Amare/Shaq for Kaman/Tim Thomas/Maggette (S&T)

The Suns would instantly save about $10 million this year.

And they instantly lose that $10 million once fans realize that their ownership is intent on ruining the franchise with trades like that.

Still a no-go. Davis/Amare/Shaq would be a definite playoff team in the West, and the pick wouldn't help PHX that much at all.

Return to Phoenix Suns
