2007 Jets Schedule

Post#1 » by KnickTerp12 » Tue Apr 3, 2007 4:59 am

Well the schedule comes out on Thursday, I'm pretty excited to see when we play who. We've got a REALLY exciting schedule vs some nice rivals (especially from me, since I'm living in the DC/BALT area now but I have tons of Giants fan friends at home)

So we have

Buf x 2
Mia x 2
NE x 2

Pittsburgh - Home
Baltimore - Away
Cincinatti - Away
Cleveland - Home

NY Giants - Away (kind of)
Dallas - Away
Washington - Home
Philadelphia - Home

Kansas City - Home
Tennessee - Away

Dallas is on Thanksgiving.

Any predictions on opening day? I think we'll actually have a home game with the G-Men in Dallas.

Think we'll get any other primetime games?

Nine wins sounds about right.

Sweep one of Miami/Buffalo (2 wins)
Split with the other one (1 win)
Split with NE (1 win)
Actually beat Cleveland this season... (1 win)
Split with the NFC East (2wins, Giants and Washington)
Beat KC (1 win)
Beat Tennessee (1 win)

= 9-7.

We might be able to beat one other team in the AFC North though, and beating NE this season will be tough.

I like that we get an extra home game, playing the giants at home. Hopefully they put one of our NE games on Sunday or Monday night.

16-0

More like we win 8 to 11 games.

I can't believe we face the Giants this year. I also can't believe we're playing on Thanksgiving. When was the last time those things happened?

I'm looking forward to the Thanksgiving game the most. My brother-in-law is a die-hard Cowboys fan. I know we're gonna crush them. Is it just me or were there a lot of hyphens in my post?

A few, what browser are you using? It might be making it happen, or you just really like hyphens.

I'm the one who put them there, so I guess it's the latter.

Because everyone hates the jets :x

Even following our 4-12 season they gave us a Monday night game against the Dolphins. Well, at least we have the thanksgiving game.

Yeah, I guess they thought that the Thanksgiving was enough...but it's not.

OneCent, do you like the Jets because of Ben Graham? Just wondering because I saw you were from Australia.

Nah I've followed them since about 2002. In fact, I don't even follow the sport that Graham played over here, so I hadn't heard of him before when he came to the Jets.
