2007 NY Giants Schedule Release

The schedule is alot easier than last year.....the end is pretty tough but I definitely think it's reasonable.

Yeah, it doesn't strike me as particularly tough. But it's a new season. We still need to have a good draft.

I also find it hilarious how Jets fans are up in arms about being in the national sched. only once, while we're on five times. I think that's a diss, yes. But that's just how our franchises are viewed. That said, they very well might do better than us this season. I'm still very concerned about our squad.

I say they go 11-5, just by looking at the schedule I say they lose to:

-the Iggles in Philly
-the Cowboys in Big D
-the Jets
-the Bears
-the Pats

But my vision will change a bit once the draft, training camp, and preseason comes.

I like Manning's attitude coming into this season, he seems hungry to win...I just hope that can transpire into the field.

I think somewhere I heard they might be running more 4 receiver sets. So, lets see - hopefully he's able to get on the same page with Plax and Shockey. I think that has been a major problem with those two since they are never in camp. Always working on their own. But again, I think more attention needs to be paid towards our defense then anything. LB and CB are positions we need to fix!

If big brandon has a good year, the giants will win a lot of games.. If he has a bad year.. well then we're in for a long season

We could position ourselves nicely within the 1st Month of the Season if we Win all 3 of those Divisional Games (DAL, WAS, and PHI).
BAF 1.0 - Wizards: Year 2
PG: Kemba Walker (32) / Rivers (16) / Felton
SG: Evan Fournier (28) / Evans (20) / Dotson
SF: Gordon Hayward (36)/ Delly (12) / Dudley
PF: Kevin Love (36) / Frye (12) / Ellenson
C: Pau Gasol (32) / Noah (16) / Felicio

There are so many questions surrounding this squad that cannot be answered until they actually play.

Will our offensive line be productive?
Can Jacobs handle 25 carries a game?
How will Toomer play coming off a surgery; can he still be a consistent #2 option?
Is Strahan healthy enough to be effective?
Can Kiwanuka be consistently effective at SLB?

and the biggest of all...

Will Eli Manning finally play up to his potential?

:-?

I have a good feeling about this season. The Giants have a good amount of depth so that injuries will no longer be as big of a problem. If at least half of these questions can be answered in a positive sense then the Giants should be able to make the playoffs due to their fairly weak schedule. Once there, who knows how far they can go?
