I didn't even see the pun until after I already wrote the title, man will Hanneman have a heyday with Love's name...anyway:

I trust DX more than most scouting sites. They seem to think that the trade is fantastic for us :D I'm starting to feel better

“Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!”

Sorry to ruin your comfort zone, but isn't this what Jeff Daniels says to Carey after he trades their van for a moped? Granted it kept them from being found for awhile but it certainly wasn't an improvement in their mode of transportation.

We'll see if the Wolves FO ends up looking like a couple of frozen idiots with ice hanging from their noses and frozen pants from pissing their pants when Mayo blows up.

Well, at least you grasped exactly what they were saying with that.

My, do I feel sheepish.

I should have realized you saw the sarcasm dripping from the article.

There was not sarcasm dripping from the article. It originally attacked the wolves for picking Mayo, so why would you consider the positive update, which was trading the player they didn't think we should take for the one they thought we should, sarcastic?

On another topic, trading the van for the moped was the only way they could make it to Aspen due to gas mileage. They wouldn't have been able to make it to Aspen or home with the van, so something had to be done. What would you do in a situation like that?

I sure wouldn't have traded the next Kobe Bryant, I can tell you that!

"Minnesota may be learning from their mistakes after all. ESPN is reporting a mega-trade with Mayo and Kevin Love swapping teams, dumping some ugly three year deals on Memphis, and moving Mike Miller to Minnesota in the process. The Wolves are left with a talented front court in front of poor guards and Memphis winds up with a glut of good guards with no skilled bigs on the inside. Surely, more trades are in line, but Minnesota sees the light at the end of the lottery tunnel while Memphis is going the other way."

--I guess they still underrate Foye. I think kid could be large this year. One of my big issues last year is when he would make a nice move and hit jaric for an open brick. Now he hits Mike Miller for a sweet Jay. Now he hits Kevin Love in a pick-pop. Foye will be large this year.

DX's draft grade for the Wolves.

A

You have to take your hat off for Kevin McHale for once. Not only did he go out and get the player he coveted the most in this draft—Kevin Love—he also managed to pick up a terrific player to compliment him in Mike Miller, while also unloading two nasty contracts (with three years remaining) in Greg Bucker and Marko Jaric. That might even qualify as a home-run in our book. Don’t look now, but Minnesota has firmly entrenched themselves to be huge players on the much anticipated 2010 free agent market, if they have the patience to continue to maintain their flexibility.

Apart from the inexcusable error about Buckner a positive write up.
